Donald Trump Has Offficially Signed an Order to Create a Strategic U.S. Crypto Reserve 🔥
What does the crypto community think?
⚫️David Sacks: The U.S. government now holds about 200,000 BTC ($17B+). We’re building a "digital Fort Knox." Trump kept his promise.
⚫️Coinbase CEO: Other G20 countries will likely follow the U.S. and start their own BTC reserves.
⚫️Solana Co-founder: This removes some of the uncertainty around crypto rules. Now we need clear laws for stablecoins, banks handling crypto and DeFi regulations from the SEC and CFTC.
⚫️Bitwise CIO: This is great news for Bitcoin’s long-term future.
⚫️Head of Research: The U.S. government has up to 88,000 BTC ($7.7B) available for the reserve. 112,000 BTC will be returned to the Bitfinex exchange.
⚫️10xResearch: The order is a good first step, but there’s no clear plan yet on how big the reserve will be. More details might come later.
⚫️Conor Grogan (Coinbase): This move will reduce selling pressure on Bitcoin by $18B+.
⚫️Sygnum Bank: The U.S. Bitcoin reserve could push BTC’s market value up by $460 billion.
⚫️Senator Cynthia Lummis: Trump promised to support crypto and today he delivered. By making BTC a strategic asset, he’s helping solve our national debt and making the U.S. a leader in financial innovation.
⚫️VanEck research: If the U.S. builds a 1 million BTC reserve by 2029, it could reduce national debt by $21 trillion by 2049.
