A call for support, Homies. @HolmesBase is currently running #HOPE: Helping Our People Everywhere, an initiative where your contribution can go a long way in helping those in need and reaching more people. Every bit of help is appreciated, so do take a moment to have a look. 🤍

ㅤㅤ 1. Humanitarian and environmental support in West Kalimantan. Donations will support people, volunteers, and wildlife affected by forest fires and smoke in West Kalimantan. Local teams are already helping assess the situation and identify what is needed on the ground. They are also preparing transportation, supplies, coordination, and safety measures. The donations will be distributed based on verified needs in the affected areas. 2. YIARI (Yayasan Inisiasi Alam Rehabilitasi Indonesia). YIARI is an organization focused on wildlife and environmental conservation. Donations can support the rescue and protection of orangutans, slow lorises, long-tailed macaques, and their habitats. They also have programs related to preventing forest and land fires. 3. Borneo Nature Foundation (BNF). BNF is a conservation organization focused on protecting Borneo’s rainforests through science-based conservation, working with local communities, forest restoration, and wildlife protection. They are also currently calling for emergency support for firefighting, as dry conditions caused by El Niño have made peatlands in Central Kalimantan highly vulnerable to fires. 4. Dompet Dhuafa Lampung. Donations will support residents affected by the Mount Anak Krakatau eruptions and volcanic ash in South Lampung and surrounding areas. The donations will help provide protective masks, eye protection, healthcare services, and medicine for respiratory problems and eye irritation. 5. Rumah Bulan. Rumah Bulan is a community that provides safe housing and support for families affected by domestic violence. They provide legal, psychological, medical, and financial support, as well as temporary accommodation for those who need a safe place to stay. For this month’s #HOPE, we have decided to act as the donation intermediary for these five causes. We will collect the donations through the QRIS provided below and distribute them to the five sources listed above. We promise to handle every contribution responsibly and transparently.
