Metastatic Cervical Cancer •Advanced stage cancer that spreads beyond the cervix to other organs such as lungs, bones, and liver. •Survival Rates: Low, due to the spread of the disease. Symptoms 1.Abnormal vaginal bleeding 2.Pelvic pain or discomfort 3.Pain during sexual intercourse 4.Unexplained weight loss Causes •Main Cause: Long-lasting infection with high-risk types of human papillomavirus (HPV). •HPV Infection: Commonly transmitted through sexual contact. Short-term infections are typically controlled by the immune system. Persistent high-risk HPV infections can lead to cervical cancer.

#CurrentAffair #Prelims Form 7 – What It Is 1)Form 7 is an official Election Commission application. 2)Used to object to any name in the electoral roll. 3)Any registered voter can file it to seek deletion of another voter’s name. 4)Reasons: person is dead, shifted permanently, not ordinary resident, underage, non-citizen, etc. 5)No limit on number of Form 7s one person can file. 6)But filing more than 5 requires mandatory scrutiny by Electoral Registration Officer (ERO). What Happened in Gujarat (SIR Exercise) 1)During Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. 2)Thousands of Form 7 applications filed in bulk. 3)Voters claim: names, phone numbers, EPIC details misused. 4)Signatures allegedly forged or taken under false pretext. 5)Many said they were told forms were for inclusion, not deletion. 6)Applications submitted in their names without knowledge. 7)Affected areas: Anand, Ahmedabad, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Rajkot, etc. Some voters signed 300–1,200 forms under coercion or misinformation.
