Municipal services are also unreachable by telephone.

🚨Cyberattack Update ‼️ 🇯🇵Japan - Yorozu Corporation The RansomHub ransomware group claims responsibility for the attack on Yorozu Corporation. Allegedly, 849 GB of data, including confidential documents and contracts with car manufacturers such as Nissan, Honda, and Toyota, technical documentation, budget reports, production technologies, accounting documents, insurance records, HR files, databases, and development files, were exfiltrated. Ransom deadline: 31st Oct 2024. On October 14, 2024, Yorozu Corporation confirmed a ransomware attack that encrypted files stored on multiple servers, making them inaccessible.

🚨Cyberattack Alert ‼️ 🇮🇹Italy - Teddy Group The Black Suit ransomware group claims responsibility for the cyberattack on Teddy Group. Allegedly, 1 TB of data was exfiltrated, including user data, business data, employee data, production data, and financial data. On October 7, 2024, Teddy Group, a fashion giant, fell victim to a ransomware attack targeting the servers of its logistics distribution center in Gatteo. Contrary to what Black Suit claims, no ransom demand was made. The company temporarily suspended online sales as a precaution and conducted a complete system cleanup.

(Monohakobi Technology Institute) MTI Co., Ltd. experienced a ransomware attack between August 22 and August 25, 2024, where unauthorized access to their server led to the encryption of files and a potential leak of personal information. The attack may have exposed sensitive data of employees, including their names, birthdates, addresses, contact details, and bank account information, as well as similar data of employees from business partners. 🚨Cyberattack Alert ‼️ 🇮🇳India - Star Health, Apollo Hospitals, Clinicia The ransomware groups RansomHub and Kill Security strike hard in India, listing three victims on their data leak sites: Star Health, Apollo Hospitals, and Clinicia. Star Health, which was recently involved in an incident compromising 31 million customers, is now being threatened by RansomHub. Allegedly, 200 GB of data were exfiltrated, including PII, financial information, confidential business information, and health information. Ransom deadline: 24th October. Apollo Hospitals, one of India's leading healthcare institutions, has been targeted by the cybercriminal group Kill Security, which claims to release patient names, medical conditions, healthcare provider details, diagnostic results, and identification numbers by 28th October. Clinicia India, a clinic management software, is also listed by RansomHub, which claims to have exfiltrated millions of patient records.

🇮🇹Italy - Cyber fraudster wanted by the FBI arrested at Malpensa. In collaboration with others, he is responsible for a $31 million scam. Italian authorities arrested a 43-year-old Italo-Australian man at Milan's Malpensa airport, wanted globally for over three years for cyber fraud and money laundering. The man is accused of being part of a criminal organization responsible for a $31 million online scam, primarily targeting elderly victims. The arrest followed an FBI investigation, which revealed that the group deceived victims by displaying false error messages on their computers, prompting them to call a fake support center and make payments for non-existent technical assistance.
