We've rebuilt CGPT staking. V2 fixes the rough edges from the old contract, puts your staking data fully on-chain, and ships hardened and audited. Here's what changes for you.
No more full re-lock when you add to a stake
On the old contract, topping up an existing stake reset your entire lock back to zero. Add to a 1-year pool three months in, and your whole balance re-locked for another full year. V2 ends that. A new deposit only moves your unlock forward by a fair, stake-weighted amount, and it can never reset from scratch or shorten your lock. Add a little and your unlock barely moves. Add a lot and it adjusts proportionally. Either way, you're never punished for staking more.
Your staked balance now updates live on-chain
Staked amounts and pool totals now reflect the real on-chain state in real time as people stake and unstake. Pool "full" status, total value staked, and your own position are all accurate to the chain, not an estimate.
Your principal is always yours
Once your lock ends, withdrawing your staked CGPT is fully separate from claiming rewards. Your principal can never be held up by anything on the rewards side. Claim rewards whenever you like, withdraw the moment you're unlocked.
Audited and security-hardened
V2 was independently audited by CertiK and ships with strengthened security across the contract.
Cleaner mechanics and bug fixes
Accurate pool caps, correct reward accrual, and a long list of smaller fixes that make staking behave exactly the way you'd expect.

We've seen the reports from the community about suspicious activity on the leaderboard, and we want to address it directly.
As part of our regular campaign health checks, we just completed an extensive integrity audit of the DeCharge Buzzdrop. Here's what we did:
→ Deranked confirmed bot accounts
→ Adjusted multipliers for accounts showing abuse patterns
→ Corrected points across all flagged accounts
This isn't a one-time cleanup. Buzz runs these checks throughout every campaign, and we will run a final, thorough audit before the campaign ends to make sure the leaderboard that settles is the leaderboard that earned it.
A few things worth saying clearly:
Inflated or inorganic activity does not survive to the snapshot. Rewards are based on real, verified impact: genuine clicks, real conversions, legitimate actions. Numbers that don't hold up to scrutiny get removed before anything is distributed.
Honest Buzzers are the priority. The whole point of this system is that real contribution wins. We are not going to let manipulation take what belongs to the people actually doing the work.
