Frogs and Frogettes Let’s keep it short n sweet today but that may be an impossible task with this topic. What happens when your ego dies or is left in the past? Anyone know??? Hmmm best answer that comes to my mind is a quote from Gandhi that said: “When the ego dies, the soul awakens.”…. That makes sense, right? There is no denying that the ego does truly serve a purpose…. but when the ego becomes the dominant process of your mind, you can and will fall out of alignment with your true self. Still make sense? So, very simply put is that when we operate from our ego we are generally obsessed with right and wrong, blame and shame. Personally, I know this to be true. Also, when we are acting from ego, we are not acting from a very loving place….but mostly are acting from a very judgemental place. If that is happening, we are not acting from a place of “how can I serve” or “how can I give”… rather, “what do I get”, and “how do I look.” Think about that for a minute. I have met so many amazing people on this journey. The ones I stand closest with are the ones that align themselves with helping others over the ones that are so obsessed with the 3D world of ego and materialism. Are we not on this mission/journey to leave the 3D world behind and live in a more loving, helping others 5D type of life??? When we truly set out to serve others, our goals and aspirations can take a backseat or come in second place. Taking the time to let that statement absorb, I took a little introspective tour to truly understand my thought process on all this. By engaging in this introspection, I evaluated some of my strengths and weaknesses. What I actually experienced was that when I let go, I actually opened myself up to the universe. With this realization and to be honest, with a little bit of practice, I did learn how to manage my ego better and that is helping me create a life that feels more peaceful, loving and authentic. By this little practice session I found that I could transcend my ego’s hold on my thoughts and deeds. I realized that when i keep my ego in check, helping others brings me true joy. There is no stress beating me up or making me compete for things that truly matter not. On a very personal level, it made me understand relationships that I have. I don’t feel the need to run and hide because they may not particularly make logical sense. Once ego is pushed outa the way, I was able to see things that ego wouldn’t allow. What I mean is that by letting go of the ego, I reallocated my energy and was able to refocus on the things that truly matter and accepted and understood much better that the things that are outside of my control will take care of themselves. So this is what I have learned…. Ego implies unawareness. Awareness and ego cannot coexist. Sooooo …the moment I become aware of the ego in me, it is strictly no longer the ego but just an old, conditioned mind pattern and I make the decisions…not my ego. See? I tried to keep it fairly short. I wish for all a great day! Take back control of your life and remember that we are breaking free from the matrix so there is no reason we can’t break free from our ego. You will be happier when you do. Love and Light to all.
