Repost from Morph & Beyond
Hi! My name is Yafet, but my gamer tag is Morph (DotA & CoD). Thank you for joining, Iβm truly honored.
A little about me: Iβm a CS major and have been in the game for almost a decade. Itβs been 90% corporate: my first gig was doing embedded systems programming, the second was working on OpenEDX for an edtech nonprofit, the third was working for the government on... well, a lot (weβll talk about it :)), and my last full-time job was at Fayda as overlord of the engineering team.
Now, I work on different projects mostly remote. Iβm an MLOps guy/everything person and I started a podcast called Devtopia with Frectonz.
I also have an unhealthy obsession with film cameras and vintage watches.
So thank you for joining my channel, and thanks to those of you who asked me to create one. Let there be posts!

Actually, let me tell you my programming journey π
I think I had just finished 10th grade when I saw a SoloLearn certificate on one of my friendsβ Telegram profile pictures. I asked him what it was, and he sent me the app. When I opened it, I got really excited and wanted to earn one for myself π€
I still remember how I jumped out of my blankets and started memorizing C++ code π Another day, while we were talking, he suggested that I start learning HTML since it was easier. And I didβ¦
Fast forward two years: I hated HTML and didnβt want to touch it anymore π
Weβll continue when we hit 100 subs π

I found a project I worked on when I was starting programming back in highschool. That was 7 years agoπ€―
Damn we're ageing man. If only I had continued though... that would've been cool.
