👋 Hey there, welcome to BarAdis Tech! We’re four “totally normal” university students — two from Bahirdar, two from Addis — who accidentally bumped into each other at a summer camp. (Yes, it was as random as it sounds.) Somehow, that chaos turned into a friendship… and now into this channel. Lucky you. So, what’s Baradis Tech? Well, besides being the place you didn’t know you needed: 💻 Dev Fun – All the painfully relatable (and sometimes hilarious) struggles of Ethiopian software students. 📚 Tech Content – Tips, tools, tutorials, and the shiny new things we’re pretending to understand. 🚀 Opportunities – Internships, scholarships, events… basically the stuff we also found on the internet but decided to share so we look generous. 🧠 Blogs & Experiences – Raw, unfiltered thoughts on juggling code, coffee, and student life in Ethiopia. Look, we’re not “tech gurus” (yet 👀). We’re just figuring things out, failing a bit, learning a lot, and sharing the ride. 👉 So grab your spot, scroll around, and welcome to Baradis Tech — where chaos meets code.

Is it only me or you guys find it hard to work on multiple projects at a time? It was about two weeks since started workings on an internship project and I was completely away from everything. My side projects, my DSA team, even my social media presence... everything. How do people manage to work 8+ hrs a day. Sure I've pulled some 8+ hrs a day in the past but that usually ends up burning me out and I would take a break for like more than 2 days. How do you manage to be consistent on everything on your plate? #consistency #burnout

Today I reminded myself of a key clean architecture principle: Never let one repository depend on another repository. Each repository should stay independent and only rely on domain abstractions. This keeps the system modular, easy to test, and prevents hidden coupling #devJournal

Is there anybody here who knows a way to record while the mic is in use, like on a call or when talking to ChatGPT?

It’s far from perfect, but this is what I’ve managed to build so far. From here on, I’ll be working on this project seriously not just as a side project, but as a real product. It might not work out, but it’s worth the shot. Plus, having something big to chase feels amazing. Hope you all like it. 😊 @selfmadecoder

I noticed that there is a trend in which you build completely useless products that aim to just show what you can do. I'm referring to projects like 'Netflix clone', 'xyz clone', etc. They might be good to improve your skills, but they're not impactful, they don't have users. Moreover, building your own thing end-to-end shows initiative, creativity, and problem solving ability which are qualities that employers and investors value far more than the ability to copy an existing product. #thoughts @yeab_dev

Some people say "the universe provides what you truly wish for." But it's not that the universe is handing you anything. It's that when you deeply want something, your mind starts filtering everything around you to spot opportunities—no matter how small—that could lead you closer to it. Like when you're looking for your phone in a messy room. You won’t notice the tablet, the PC, or anything else. Your focus is locked. Even the slightest shape that resembles your phone grabs your attention. That's how it works with goals too. When you really want something, your mind stays alert for every little clue, every chance that might help you reach it. It's not the universe. It's you, tuned in and ready. #thoughts @yeab_dev

Building a habit-tracking app taught me more than I expected not just about Flutter, but also about design thinking and user motivation. One small UI decision can influence a user’s consistency. Still a work in progress, but loving the journey. #projects @yeab_dev
