I launched glow on reddit and got cooked in the comments. People were like: > "what a waste of tokens" > "this is absolutely trash" > "really?" > "This was just what I was missing" (ironically πŸ˜‚) .... And those comments probably helped me more than Glow going viral and getting a ton of users

Most valuable lessons: - Don't try to change people's habits > Imagine that your users are climbing a mountain. Give them something worth carrying up. - Decisions are hard/brutal > "Why should I carry your rock up this mountain? What is so special about it?" - Agentic Engineering > .md files > rubrics > tests

so I have this extension i built a couple month back so that i don't have to context switch between notion and vscode... I literally can't live without it now It's perfect... i open codex on the right open vs notes on left and i can even work on different things at the same time If vscode doesn't become more modular then someone like me will fork it and make it more modular for extensions It's current UI/UX is literally useless to me it's need to be rebuilt around extensions... since everyone can vibe code anything they want now there's no need to build the codex /claude code app that users can vibe code and change... there's already vscode + your own extensions just need to make it better

The future of programming is likely something like VS code but made more modular Not codex or claude code The thing that already makes VS code so great is that you can create your own extensions that help your workflow

This was a fun one Users share their affirmations in the affirmations page and chat in the chats page The architecture and ui is similar to telegram. Everything is a channel. Not creating a discord was the right move. AI makes convenience cheap.

Todos for glow [-] Make it open source [-] Build an iOS and Android app (may branch off from glow) [-] Remove $9/month and make it $12/lifetime [-] Redesign the landing page [βœ…] Build a community platform in Glow (basically discord) [-] Create web app for glow [-] Add bineural beats / ambient music [-] Launch on product hunt
