GM, Wallers! The TON Foundation, through its actions, is burying the ecosystem and leaving no chance for meme projects to survive. Incompetent leadership is busy with endless reshuffles, their new presidents dump tokens into the market right after taking office, and the entire ecosystem has shifted its focus to giveaways and stickers, forgetting what sparked the explosive growth of the blockchain in the first place. Our common home, our friendly family, is becoming empty and quiet. Projects that used to drive the ecosystem forward and attract new users are gradually going bankrupt. There has been no feedback from TON Foundation representatives since January this year. To make matters worse, the TON Foundation itself has run out of money because they sold off all their Telegram assets. What about Memelandia? TON Memelandia officially ended back in December 2024. Among the promised prizes for the winning projects were: $45,000 for a community airdrop, Marketing and KOL Boost for the project. After a lengthy verification process, the airdrop was eventually distributed to the community. However, even here things were far from smooth. Of the promised $45,000, only about $8,563 was actually distributed — at a time when TON was trading at $5.12 (you can see the calculations in the screenshot). We reviewed all the $WALL wallets listed in their official Dune report and came to this disappointing conclusion. Moreover, the promised Marketing and KOL Boosts were never delivered (which is especially critical under the current circumstances). In the end, we have an unfinished first season of Memelandia. No announcements for subsequent seasons were made. The official verdict: TON Memelandia R.I.P. What now? We, the team behind Du Rove's Wall, have tried to bring more fun and joy to the ecosystem. We organized crazy events and giveaways, handing out tons of money to users. We strived to create a project where absolutely everyone could earn. Just remembering the WALL Contest gives us goosebumps 🥹. Apparently, the ecosystem as a whole, and the TON Foundation in particular, were not supportive of the idea that everyone should have a fair chance to earn. They are only interested in a model where the top leadership cares solely about dumping tokens on the market. A model where all the attention is focused on empty clicker apps with no solvent audience or even a hint of liquidity. At this point, our project no longer has the funds to continue operating and, unfortunately, is on the verge of bankruptcy. Thank you to everyone who built their own wall in @dwall. Thank you to everyone who fought for the title of top holder in the WALL Contest. Thank you to everyone who participated in raids and leveled up their rank in our community.
