These episodes happen ❗️many times a day. She has no other medical problems and there is no family history of note. Dx ➡️ absence epilepsy 👶🏻 5-month-old infant who has been seen repeatedly by his general practitioner because of ❗️colic. His mother brings him to the Accident and Emergency department as he is having episodes of ❗️suddenly throwing his head and arms forward. These episodes ❗️occur in repetitive bursts. His mother thinks they may be something more than just colic, as he is now not smiling or supporting his head as well as he did previously. He was born at term by normal vaginal delivery and has no other medical problems. DX ➡️ Infantile spasms (West syndrome) #goldens
