Ukrainian Sound Garden

✨ Last week we felt a magical spirit of light and hope together at Ukrainian Sound Garden Vol. 5 We sincerely thank everyone who participated and made this event unforgettable. Special thanks to our actors who performed the fascinating Vertep that immersed us in a real Christmas atmosphere and left everyone speechless. We also had a lovely pop-up market with unique and incredible crafts, traditional Ukrainian cuisine, and wonderful daytime and nighttime stages filled with great music! ❤️‍🩹 This time, we aimed to raise 7,500 euros to support Dnipro Hospital #16, which urgently needs surgical equipment. We nearly managed to do that and raised 7,200 EUR. 🎄 We only need 300 EUR to reach our fundraising goal, and we believe we can do this by Christmas! In the spirit of the bright light of this Christmas season, let's do some magic together and help Dnipro Hospital with our donations. Dear friends, now we invite everybody in the yard for Vertep by Vitsche! This year's concept is dedicated to a historical event that occurred with liberal Ukrainian poets during the Soviet occupation. In 1972, Lviv hosted a historic nativity scene that brought together artists and human rights activists. In memory of the participants of the Nativity scene in 1972, we will perform our Vertep oat 21:00. We prepare following roles: 💫 Angel: A symbol of Light, 💫 The Beast: Symbolizes human evil and tyranny. 💫 Rahel: Represents a motherly figure that is able and ready to fight and protect her children. 💫 Haydamachka: Represents a protective or warrior-like figure from the Ukrainian history 💫 Death: Serving as a reminder of mortality and the cycle of life. 💫 Herod: Symbolizes the Soviet regime, which persecuted and killed people who fought for Ukraine's independance 💫 Cossacks: Historical warrior groups in Ukraine known for their independence and military skills.
