Congratulations if you’ve gotten into your dream school 💛 I’ve decided to open probably the very last class I can personally take on in my 2026 schedule — 📘 Secondary 1 🗓 Tuesdays, 4–6pm 📍 Beauty World at JK Building 🚀 Starting 6 January 2026 As Maythematics continues to grow, I’ll be driving my time and energy more into leading our team, curriculum and operations while more of our trained tutors will be teaching all the other classes throughout the week. If you’re worried about CCA clashes on days you might register for our classes, don’t worry — we’ll have multiple Sec 1 class options for you to change on different days both at Kembangan and Beauty World. It’s happening! We are opening our 2nd centre near Beauty World MRT! I’ve personally allocated 2 days (3 -4 classes) to teach classes at this new location! What made me decide to confirm opening 2nd Math Tuition outlet in 2026 Over the past few weeks up till yesterday, we’ve been inviting our students and parents down every week to film their testimonials. We still have quite a number of these testimonials that we haven’t posted on our social media yet. And honestly… I didn’t expect these sessions to impact me this deeply. Sitting across from each family, listening to their stories one by one — it felt like I was being shown the “behind the scenes” of every child’s and even parent’s journey. The tears, the frustration, the self-doubt… trying out 1-1 tuitions and also at several math tuition centres, endless worksheets… And then the turning point: “Nothing worked… until we found Maythematics.” That was why even though some of stay more than 15km away from our outlet, they still come down for our lessons weekly and consistently.. Story after story, I heard how a child went from AL7 to even A1. How a once defeated child now becomes motivated in Math and finds it their favourite subject now; How parents finally see hope again. How confidence — which felt lost for years — started returning. Some parents told me they prayed for help. Some said they were on the verge of giving up. Some said they saw their child change as a person. And sitting there, hearing this… something in me shifted. I realised: If what we do can truly transform a child’s life — not just their grades, but their belief in themselves — then keeping Maythematics at only one location is no longer an option. This isn’t just growth for the sake of growth. It is a calling. And perhaps, the clearest sign I’ve received in a long time. So yes — we are definitely expanding 2nd location! 🥳 The only question mark is where will we go next. We have paid a deposit for a unit in the Central-West area and is currently pending change of use under URA whether this unit is suitable for being a tuition centre. The outcome will be out by 15 December. If this unit doesn’t pull through, we will then consider alternative good unit(s) in the Central or North as well Fingers crossed and I’ll keep you all updated on this again ☺️❤️

Some updates that you all might be keen to know! 1) We were initially set in setting up our 2nd outlet at Jurong East; but unfortunately the landlord did not accept our offer as they are still settling some legal issues with their existing tenant 2) We tried our best to find another unit at Jurong East but couldn’t! ☹️ 3) However we managed to find another good unit in the West (although not Jurong East) and are in the midst of confirming it! Will keep you all updated on this! :) If everything is good, we will see you all in January 2026 in the West side! 🥰 4) We will tentatively be pausing our regular Tiktok Live since it is the holiday season. Will update you all next year when we kickstart it again ☺️

Today is PSLE Math result day. Some of you are celebrating, some are disappointed. I just want you to remember one thing: Sec 1 is a brand new start! Whether your child got AL1 or AL7, they will be stepping into a completely different world of math — algebra, negative numbers, new ways of thinking. Over the years, we’ve seen students who struggled in PSLE rise to A1 when they receive proper guidance and put in the effort, and we’ve also seen AL1 students fall behind in secondary school because they became complacent. What matters is not today’s grade, but what they do next. If you want to help your child transition confidently, we’re running Sec 1 Headstart workshops starting this Sunday (30 Nov) to cover the foundation of about 50% of Sec 1 topics ☺️ For students who would like to join our regular Sec 1 classes in 2026, we’re offering a $200 discount until 15 Dec as a thank you to those who plan ahead. Here is Kristen’s story: she came to us with AL7 for PSLE Math, improved from G2 to G3 Math by May 2025, and has been consistently scoring A1 in Sec 1.
