EPSA Haramaya members successfully raised awareness about the  importance of responsible antibiotic use and consequences of antibiotic resistance in Hiwot Fana Comprehensive Specialized Hospital. Our campaign utilized multi-pronged approach including patient educating and care giver educating. June 13/2024

We had an interesting welcoming program for our recently joined higher officials of EPSA, Anti-Drug and Public Health, and Anti-HIV/AIDS Club. This program aimed to create a strong bond and interaction between all of our clubs and associations as we stand for common goals. We shared many funny moments and during the program, we also held a handover ceremony for their stamps and offices. At the end of our program, Students' Union President Muleta Ahmedin and Vice President Abdulfeta Mohammed appreciated the progress of our clubs and associations and wished the new officials a successful working term. Head of Clubs and Societies Adnan Abduselam thanked all concerned bodies who played their roles to make this program happen and gave direction to the new officials. Students' union and Clubs and societies board had a meeting with all Clubs and Associations found in our collage. And they have discussed on 1) Well go program for GC students 2) University Students Summar Volunteers program Regarding Well go they have tried to address Necessary preparation like certificate design, organizing students list , and submitting for the board within specified period of time They have raised an issue of University students summer program which is forwarded by minster of Education to all university and requested to Volunteers who is patients to serve community ! And also all members of board heard a report presented by Head of Club and society affairs Adinaan Abduselam, and he explain the transformational measurements they have taken to build Diverse and inclusive students associations and the recently held election on Anti-HIV, Anti-drug, and EPSA were Examplary , and all members of board appreciate their efforts and show their willingness to work in collaboration with Clubs and Societies Board. The Clubs and Societies affairs that have taken part from this meeting are EMSA President, Bilaal Abdu EPSA President, Ana Boset Girls union Deligate , Tunis Mohammed Charity delegate, Yusra Mohammed OEG delegate, Bahatole Abdellah Anti Drugs President, Samuel Mesfin Anti HIV V/ President, Adem Abdellah Peace Forum President, Urge Abdullahi Paragraph Ten The Office of Clubs and Societies Affairs Article 52 – Powers and Functions of the Office The Office of Clubs and Societies Affairs, under supervision of the Higher Management and in collaboration with the concerned organs of the University, shall: 1. endeavor to ensure that the educational, social, cultural, and recreational activities and services of clubs and societies reflect the interests and aspirations of all students and the University community; 2. ensure that the clubs and societies conduct their businesses in accordance with the objectives of the Union, and in a manner that reflects the prestige and pride of the University; 3. enforce the standards, rules, and regulations laid down under the Clubs and Societies Regulations of the Union; 4. process the applications for establishment of new clubs or societies and present it to the Clubs and Societies Board for approval; 5. in collaboration with concerned organs of the University, facilitate the provision of offices, equipment’s, and assistances to clubs and societies; 6. in collaboration with the respective clubs and societies, and the Clubs and Societies Board, prepare the budget for each club or society and submit it to the Office of Treasury; 7. supervise the activities and conducts of the officials of clubs and societies and take actions as deemed necessary in consultation with the Higher management; 8. supervise the clubs and societies to ensure that they are operational and make recommendations for appropriate action by the Clubs and Societies Board regarding clubs and societies which are inactive or fail to operate in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution; 9. act upon or execute the recommendations issued or decisions made by the Clubs and Societies Board based on reports of activities and financial management by clubs and societies; 10. Own and coordinate the activities and responsibilities assigned to various teams under the Office

Well-Coming Higher Officials of EPSA - Haramaya 💥💥💥 Please help us extend a warm welcome to our new executive committee for term 2024/25. As you may recall, last month we invited applications for the EPSA executive committee through the Google platform. The response was overwhelming, and we received numerous proposals from talented students of us. We would like to express our gratitude for your participation and enthusiasm in contributing to the growth and success of EPSA- Haramaya. Following a thorough evaluation process conducted by the Election Board Committee of EPSA, in collaboration with the Student Union Clubs and Societies Board and the national EPSA, we have carefully reviewed each proposal and considered the experiences of all applicants.
