🚨 Lilybit Rewards Update Hello Resource Provider! Lilybit Rewards went out as usual at 00:10 UTC today. Our team has noticed a notable decrease in the amount of Lilybit rewards earned by RPs network wide (today 2024-10-05). A new phase started ~4 days ago, so rewards sent out should have decreased by only 10% from last week. The decrease has been more than 10%. This has affected all RPs equally, thus will not require a retroactive backfill of rewards. We are investigating and will let the community know when this has been fully addressed.

🚨 Update: Lilybit retroactive drop has been completed. Hello Resource Provider ! The latest Lilybit retroactive drop has been completed. Rewards were provided for 2024-10-02, 2024-10-03, and 2024-10-04, in addition to expected rewards for RPs that did not appear in the Leaderboard (https://info.lilypad.tech). You will notice the “Date” for retroactively applied rewards is “2024-10-04” (in https://rp-points.lilypad.tech). This is listing the day that the entry was created by our team (Lilybit entries for the retroactive drop were all created on 2024-10-04), but each entry corresponds to a past day of RP uptime where Lilybits were earned. For RPs that were not appearing in the Leaderboard, this retroactive drop should have provided Lilybits for all days of uptime. 🚨 Update: Lilybit rewards will be provided retroactively within the next 12 hours. Hello Resource Provider!! After an investigation, RPs that didn’t receive rewards for 2024-10-02, 2024-10-03, and 2024-10-04 (today) will receive Lilybits retroactively. Our team has implemented a fix and is in the process of providing the rewards. In addition, RPs that did not appear in the Leaderboard (https://info.lilypad.tech) referenced in this announcement (https://discord.com/channels/1212897693450641498/1256179769356189707/1290847758785314888) will also receive retroactive Lilybits (rewarded for each day of uptime based on uptime/PoW history). All affected RPs can expect to see the rewards added to their Lilybit_ total in the next 12 hours!

🚨 Update: Lilybit Rewards not sent for 2024-10-02 and 2024-10-03 Hello Resource Providers !! We are aware of a bug affecting the Lilybit_ rewards payout for active RPs on the network (yesterday and today). Rewards for 2024-10-02 and 2024-10-03 were not sent, but will be retroactively applied. If your RP is active and running PoWs, don’t worry, your Lilybits will be provided asap in a retro drop! Apologies for this situation and thank you for the patience! 📢 Update: Change to Lilypad Slashing gm gm Resource Providers! The Lilypad IncentiveNet slashing mechanism will be updated in phases to ensure a smooth roll out. Changes implemented in the first phase are now live on IncentiveNet! * RP slashing has been turned back on. In order to avoid slashing, a RP needs to maintain at least 4 hours of uptime per day (this has not changed). * A grace period for RP downtime is now included in the slashing mechanism. RPs will earn 2 days of a “grace period” after every 30 days of continuous service provided. These 2 days will be applied to 2 subsequent down days recorded by the RP allowing the RP to avoid slashing for these 2 days. Grace Period days do not accumulate to more than 2 days ever. Once used the 30 day count to obtain the 2 days restarts. Slashing info has been updated in: * Lilybit_ IncentiveNet blog https://blog.lilypadnetwork.org/incentivenet-lilybit-reward-calculations * Lilypad docs https://docs.lilypad.tech/lilypad/hardware-providers/troubleshooting#how-does-slashing-work-on-lilypad. The next phase of slashing changes are in progress and will be pushed soon. This includes a tiered/progressive slashing mechanism. Slashing penalties will initially be lower than the current 10% penalty and will increase progressively the longer a node remains offline. Questions? If Bacalhau is not running the Resource Provider will turn off. * Improved collection of machine specs from Bacalhau. While we are eager to launch the Lilypad Mainnet and Token Generation Event (TGE), we have decided to schedule the launch for late March to early April 2025. 📢 Update: Rewards fix has been implemented 👋 Hi Lilypad Resource Providers! Our team has identified Resource Providers (RP) affected by the Lilypad Network scaling issues from September 06 to 17, 2024. Today, retroactive Lilybit rewards were provided to affected RPs (active and running PoW). This includes expected daily rewards in addition to rewards lost from slashing. A rewards bonus was also added as a thank you to the RP community! During this time, Proof of Work (PoW) inconsistencies were noticed among some RPs on the network causing lost Lilybit rewards. Once Lilypad v2.6.0 was released, scaling problems with the Lilypad RPC were addressed and solutions were put forward for the community. RPs can run a personal Arbitrum Sepolia RPC to ensure optimal performace running PoW. As a backstop measure, v2.6.0 defaults on-chain transactions to a list of public Arbitrum Sepolia RPCs . However, we advise upgrading to v2.6.0 to avoid potential performance issues with the public RPCs.
