The Judgment on the Philistines (Jeremiah 47:1-7) 4For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. 5Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant. 6And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks. 7And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity. The Judgment on Moab and Ammon (Jeremiah 48:1-47) 8I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border. 9Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them. 10This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts. 11The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen. The Judgment on Ethiopia and Assyria 12Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my sword. 13And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness. 14And flocks shall lie down in the midst of her, all the beasts of the nations: both the cormorant and the bittern shall lodge in the upper lintels of it; their voice shall sing in the windows; desolation shall be in the thresholds: for he shall uncover the cedar work. 15This is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.

The Day of the Lord (1 Thessalonians 5:1-11; 2 Peter 3:10-13) 7Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests. 8And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD'S sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. 9In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit. 10And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills. 11Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off. 12And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil. 13Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof. 14The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. 15That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, 16A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. 17And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. 18Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land. The Truth of God What is truth? Our world has many ways of answering this question. Often, this is what we see: truth is whatever you want it to be. It’s defined by the individual and nothing else. God’s definition is different. God is the Ruler and Creator of the universe. Everything He speaks is truth. He, being perfect, is completely incapable of lying. It is not in His nature! He is the only faultless source of truth that has ever existed. And guess what? We have access to truth directly from God! What God says is the foundation of His Word. The Bible is our path to discovering and knowing truth; more steady and solid than the opinions we hear, the information we see around us, or the feelings we feel. This truth never changes. John 8:32 says, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” When we know the truth, we are no longer living according to a lie. This is when we become free to live according to how God designed us to live. What a gift that He has made this truth available to us in His Word. It's right there at our fingertips! Today, where do you need God's truth to replace lies in your life? Remember, truth brings freedom! His Word is available to you at all times. He is inviting you to step into truth and freedom today.

Asking God “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” MATTHEW 7:7–8 NASB1995 God invites us to ask Him for the things we need, and He promises to hear our prayers as well as our thoughts. The Lord is always available, and He’s always ready to help us. And He knows precisely what we need. But He still instructs us to ask. Do you make a habit of asking God for the things you need? Hopefully so. After all, the Father most certainly has a plan for your life. And He can do great things through you if you have the courage to ask for His guidance and His help. So be fervent in prayer and don’t hesitate to ask the Creator for the tools you need to accomplish His plan for your life. Then, get busy and expect the best. When you do your part, God will most certainly do His part. And great things are bound to happen. God will help us become the people we are meant to be, if only we will ask Him. Prayer request from the Messianic Bible: Jerry, who is a family member of our ministry staff - RIGHT NOW is being put into an induced coma at 11am EST. His family has all been called in "to say good-bye to him" - but we are standing in prayer that he will NOT die, and that God will supernaturally clean out all of the fluids in his lungs, heal his pancreas, and gallbladder and other organs that are being affected. Suddenly 10 hours ago, Jerry had a terrible pain in his stomach, and it seems that once the doctors started treating him, it caused other problems. Judy, Please command healing in the name of Yeshua that his lungs, pancreas, gallbladder and every organ will be healed in the name of the Father (YHVH), the Messiah (Yeshua) and by the power of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) and for God to send his Healing Angels - that we will see God's mighty hand at work.
