این جفت پرده، که با رنگهای زنده بر روی زمینهای درخشان از برگهای طلایی نقاشی شدهاند، یک بید جوانهزده و یک درخت گیلاس را در شکوفه کامل در کنار دو درخت افرا در اوج شکوه سرخشان نشان میدهند. این ترکیببندیها به دلیل آرایهای از گیاهان و گلهای بهاری و پاییزی مرتبط، که همگی در هایکوهای آن دوره اهمیت شاعرانهای دارند، متمایز هستند. در حالی که نقاشیهای طوماری آویزان از ساکای هویتسو فراوان است، تنها شش جفت پرده در این قالب شش تکهای باقی مانده است و اینها به ویژه به دلیل اصالت ترکیببندی، تأثیر بصری قوی و نمایش ظرافت غنایی خود برجسته هستند.
قدمت این اثر را میتوان به اواخر دوران حرفهای هویتسو نسبت داد، زمانی که سوزوکی کیتسو (۱۷۹۶-۱۸۵۸) نزدیکترین و بااستعدادترین شاگردش به او در استودیویش پیوست.
