Kanibadam — a city (since 1937) in the Sughd region Tajikistan. It is located in the southwestern part of the Ferghana Valley, on the Bolshoy Ferghana Canal, passing through the southern outskirts of the city, 6 km from the Kanibadam railway station (the old name is Melnikovo)[2]. The Isfara River flows through the valley in which the city stands.
