Horrible scenario in my last duty: I have a patient who's female 9y.o Recently diagnosed as infective endocarditis by echocardiography Pt admitted in hospital and recieving antibiotics vancomycin and cefepim At the seventh day of admission and patient was at ward They called me urgently to see the patient because she had complaint of bloody vomiting I went to see the patient she was in pool of blood She transferred to PICU Pt arrested immediately CPR started No response The patient intbuted during CPR cycles I saw the the opening of airway obstructed with clot of blood which removed by forceps It was large size clot!!!!! I wasn't see something like that ever!!! Pt resuscitated for one and half hour without benefit Pt completely looks like she's empty of blood!!!! At the day of arrest pt is free from any complaints except for sudden onset of massive hematemesis which followed by circulatory collapse The possible analysis for the cause of active bleeding in this patient is ruptured aneurysm.
