MEDIA STATEMENT Under-16 Social Media Ban Will Create More Harm Than It Prevents Today the Aligned Council of Australia (ACA) warned that the Federal Government’s under-16 social media ban — due to take effect on 10 December — risks triggering a series of serious and avoidable unintended consequences. ACA Acting CEO, Barbara Mavridis, said: “Children’s safety is absolutely paramount — but policy made on the run is not the way to protect them. Simply banning under-16s from social media will not keep them safe.” Ms Mavridis said the ban misunderstands how children use technology and will likely drive them into far more dangerous online environments. “You cannot eliminate inappropriate content from the internet. What this policy will do is push children underground — creating false accounts, bypassing the system, and entering platforms where predators operate with far less scrutiny.” To read the fill Media Statement, please click on the attached document.

Every now and then there’s some good news from the WHO🔥 The World Health Organization has said its workforce will shrink by nearly a quarter – or over 2,000 jobs – by the middle of next year as it seeks to implement reforms after its top donor, the United States, announced its departure. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/nov/19/world-health-organisation-to-cut-jobs-due-to-us-withdrawing-funding

A powerful warning from Human Rights lawyer Peter Fam (of Maat’s Method) in response to the World Economic Forum’s latest Digital ID push. He lays it out clearly: 🔹 “Safety” is becoming the excuse to strip rights. 🔹 Digital ID could lock ordinary people out of public life with one wrong flag. 🔹 It erases the gap between accusation and punishment. 🔹 And it hands enormous power to institutions that have not earned our trust. This isn’t protection — it’s control disguised as safety. Australians deserve to know where this leads. #StandUpNowAustralia #DigitalID #WEF #ProtectOurRights

The Pathogen Access and Benefit-Sharing (PABS) System, is the WHO’s proposed global mechanism for the sharing of pathogen materials and sequence information and the equitable sharing of benefits that result from their use. Without PABS, the Pandemic Treaty cannot be signed. PABS is the last piece of the WHO puzzle. “This system will concentrate all the world’s most deadly pathogens into the hands of unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats under the influence of the pharmaceutical industry.  The WHO will then share them with labs all over the world, ostensibly to develop vaccines, diagnostics and other therapeutics.” There’s a global petition to voice objection to PABS. Please consider signing and sharing 👉🏼 https://www.antiglobalist.net/petition-to-stop-the-pabs/

A fantastic interview with George Christensen on the recently legislated Australian Centre for Disease Control. George explains the powers of the future Director General and indeed, the A-CDC very clearly - a good interview to share with friends and family. https://open.spotify.com/episode/7KnXRLNZNcDki2VfLMpa8T?si=vYtgFyPaQByh0Km1_L0JbQ&context=spotify%3Ashow%3A3bTjtL8ubZmfvG6sIKKZeu

A new Australian Centre for Disease Control is coming online in 2026. It’s being sold as “public health reform”, but the legislation gives one Director-General the power to demand data, override existing privacy laws, and sign international deals. All without parliamentary oversight. Good health policy needs transparency, not blind authority. Before this law switches on, Australians deserve a safety switch. 🚨BREAKING: The Australian Centre for Disease Control Bill 2025 has passed the Senate, establishing a new national CDC. The Albanese Government is investing $251.7 million, with $91.1 million already spent on the interim agency. It will launch on 1 January 2026, bringing Australia’s disease-control powers under a single Director-General with sweeping data authority. The CDC can withhold FOI material if disclosure risks “physical harm, social stigma, bullying, or vilification.” Health Minister Mark Butler described it as Australia’s “single trusted source” of health advice and data. The bill passed 34–22, backed by Labor, Greens and Independents. Liberals, Nationals, One Nation, Ralph Babet and Jacinta Price opposed it.

These negotiations are clearly NOT being led by the member nations, and they never have been. It is clear that “the bureau” of the InterGovernmental Working Group (IGWG) has its own agenda. “The bureau” obviously ignored the hundreds of pages of text that nations submitted way back in August and it is also obvious that “the bureau” continues to ignore the clear and direct requests of the vast majority of countries.” https://open.substack.com/pub/jamesroguski/p/pandemic-agreement-bull-shit-pabs?r=typ1n&utm_medium=ios

It’s all out in the open for all of us to see; The European Union submitted their proposal on October 17, 2025. An excerpt: The Parties shall, individually and jointly, encourage manufacturers of vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics to willingly conclude legally binding benefit sharing contracts with the WHO as early as possible to ensure the entry into operation of this Annex and additional contracts thereafter. Entities which are not-for-profit, including academic or research institutions, shall not be expected to conclude contracts with the WHO, but are encouraged to make voluntary contributions to support the implementation of the PABS System. When government control hides behind the language of safety, someone needs to call it out. Join guests Michael Arbon and Paul Conlon for a live webinar unpacking how the U16 Social Media Ban can open the door to a national Digital ID system — the same infrastructure that could one day decide what you can access, where you can log in, and what opinions are “safe” to share. This isn’t a theory. It’s already happening. From age assurance trials to facial recognition tech, Australia is quietly building the framework for a digital identity regime. Learn how these policies connect, why it matters for your family’s privacy, and what we can do before convenience becomes control. 🔗 https://events.humanitix.com/censored-at-16-implications-intent-and-integrity-in-lawmaking
