The table gives information on how many percentages of expenses the government spent on education as well as training, and the rate of young people( aged 18-24) took part in particular classes in five Eastern European counties, Poland, Czech republic, Romania, Hungary and Slovenia, in 2002. In general, Slovenia, which was the second country in terms of joining in classes after Poland, had a dominance in spending money on educating and training people, showing the highest proportion among 5 nations in Eastern Europe while the lowest percentage on Education and training was recorded by Poland administration in the same year, 2002. However, other three noted similar rate in the given year. Turning to the details, in 2002, Poland accounted for five times less proportion than Slovenia (25%), which was 5 % of rate of those who were educated and trained by government bodies. Although Slovenia dominated in expenditure of education, the number of teenagers engaged in lessons was responsible for less than a half in Poland in that year. With regard to other three European nations, Hungary, Romania and Czech Republic, they showed more or less the same figure in allocating money on education and training in 2002, with accounting for 13 %, 10% and 9% respectively. When it comes to participation rate, Hungary stood at approximately a third, and Czech Republic was 4% higher compared to Romania noting 23% in the given year. 235 words
