An armed man is a not so easily oppressed man. The ability to defend yourself and your family should be the number one priority of a man. Physically and spiritually.
Keep yourself physically healthy and strong, regardless of age. You can continue to be strong as you get older, don’t let that be an excuse.
Learn to defend yourself with some form of combat sport, and train regularly. Hit the heavy bag, practice takedown defense, and learn to grapple your way back up from the ground.
Carry a gun, knife, shank, slap, club, sharpened stick, broken bottle, or whatever you can to defend yourself. The number one rule is to avoid a fight, but if you can’t avoid, inflict maximum damage before you get out the area.
