Freedom - part 1 Didn't have to wait much for market move with that nice 5% btc rise and alts getting a bit of that sun as well, so the grass became a little bit greener for us, but it's still early spring. While markets are preparing for September cuts and further capital inflow in crypto, we have a TON taking a huge hit due to a new black swan event πŸ“± Pavel Durov, the man who created the very platform you are reading this at, was detained in France yesterday's evening. He is a french citizen, and there was no prior official notice on him being searched for. Officially his sin is namely not cooperating with local authorities on data sharing of Telegram users While this seemingly is irrelevant to crypto, as what difference does it make if some social media mogul is being detained, it's actually very important for many of us. Telegram is a huge social platform with lots of crypto-native users. And Pavel is openly pro-crypto with multiple attempts from him or affiliated with him projects to bring even more users into ecosystem and introduce easy crypto handling in their life. You can debate the technological advancement of TON blockchain, problem of tying crypto and social media, etc. But you can't deny that having such a person on 'our side' is a great deal You can see lots of people (Elon, Vitalik) in the sphere to stand for Durov and the right of people to have their freedom of correspondence unchallenged, even by the governments. That's exactly what Pavel stands for, at least publicly And that can be an additional reason to continue the global conversation about freedom, not only freedom of movement, and means to preserve it πŸͺ™. More on that tomorrow ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

Awaiting Current market can be perfectly described as being in an awaiting stage. We've somewhat bounced back after correction, feel the ground steadily above $60k and it feels in the air that everyone just waits for something to hit the news. We need a story running The thing with stories is that they are built around some facts or events, and I told you that those can be interpreted in both directions. You can build micro-movements, but it'll be just as good as a guess/coin flip without taking in account macro picture. But most of the investors still need an atmosphere and the 'feeling' in the chats, threads, discussions, in the private rooms, to be supportive of their beliefs to actually act in the market (no matter getting it or out) And now average investor waits for Powell's speech that is running right now. Will Powell deliver a good story for us? 🧐 Not even that. Will markets receive his story as a good one? We'll see P.S. I wrote about the objective usefulness of his words and their perception here, it's worth to reread it ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

Not 'to the moon' anymore? Remember I wrote here about narratives and all that? So that's exactly what Justin Sun did. He created a product that copied and improved a bit an already existing one with huge success (millions of daily revenue) and with that managed to shift a narrative in the space attracting lots of eyeballs to his creation. Now there are more projects created on TRX's sunpump than on SOL's pumpfun. Hats off, Justin Only we thought that memes might be somewhat over, that participants are losing their money and only few lucky ones 'make it', that the space is burning out, and we've got a new 'casino' (check % of a chance to profit, it's actually much worse than casino mathematically 😬). So now lots of degens are transitioning from SOL to TRX memes in an attempt to ride the wave. Good luck, I guess You know I'm not a big fan of memecoins and stories that live for days if they are lucky, more often their lifespan can be counted in minutes. I'm more of a decades guy, even though I can't deny some people a right to gamble their shot and embrace the result. On the opposite side of this narrative we've got Vitalik, who relentlessly works on Ethereum and actually pushes innovation in the space for 10 years. Maybe not in the way many people like, as he doesn't give them the 'money' button, but ecosystem is indeed looking serious amid all that crypto noise Vitalik actually shared recent Eth 'bull post', and lots of achievements are L2 related, which signifies that Ethereum is not about eth blockchain (L1) as a product, rather a great basic building block to build upon for loooooots of projects. And it's necessary to have both fundamental projects like ETH and 'entertainment'-like projects liks sunpump The question now is whether we should change 'to the moon' into 'to the Sun'? Or is it too early? 😏 ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

Some action It's been 2 weeks since that yen carry-trade Monday that painted the market red. We didn't have much to talk about during those 2 weeks, even though we had Trump interview that didn't do much justice for us And finally, after 2 weeks, we have at least something to talk about. Nothing global yet, so the market is still sidelining, but that's a good sign that people are coming back from their market retreats and recharges, hopefully full of energy We got Musk soft shilling DOGE 🐢 again in his Twitter (pun intended), Gensler rumors for his role in future US administration, Powell will have a speech in 3 days, Buffet continues selling BoA shares. And of course, we have Justin Sun bringing some action to TRON In case you've been living under a rock and only stablecoin you know is USDC, you are in for some awakening. USDT on TRON blockchain is the 3rd token in crypto by marketcap (triple of USDC) and is the most used token in the world (>50B in 24h volume). Basically in every economy with less stable economic and political situation, USDT is a go-to exchange medium And Justin Sun decided that he can take on Solana's memes and most popular project there - pumpfun - and just launched his new project sunpump. It's in beta, but it's a new hot thing. It actually looks better as a project as it was not built in quick-and-dirty manner by couple of random software developers in some Cali kitchen. There is actually a team behind that with a good experience and a bright frontrunner's face being Justin Sun. A bit egoistical naming, but we'll see where it'll take us. It took TRON (TRX) to top-10 cmc by marketcap, so that's already something I hope to see more activity in the upcoming days, as it will be a good signal for the growth that we need. Then it will grow like a snowball. Keep your head calm and ready, cause no one knows when will the trigger be pulled ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

I want to make clear that it's not some introduction to the magical project that solves all that, it's genuine thought process as usual πŸ˜… I don't have the answer to mentioned earlier questions, and I don't think anyone in general public has The problem I see with current situation, is that decentralized organizations/projects scale greatly in theory, they indeed can pick up traction and go viral with rapid growth of userbase committing to further fragmentation. But in practice, there should be a great foundation (both in tech and community&leaders) for such development of events, and those concepts are usually implemented by small teams with constant communication. It's way more common to have them in centralized environments, as it's simply the way we developed for the past tens of thousands of years 🀷🏼 So I think that even though our crypto dream is decentralization and true financial freedom, there still will be lots of big players who'd very much like to get a piece of that 'decentralized dream'. So we need to find a combined solution that would allow to have freedom and security to those who knows his way around the chain, and satisfy ease-of-use for 'general public' making them less dependent on the current institutions, but still having a similar seamless experience in their financial operations That comes only from symbiose of strong trustful protocols/projects, both de- and centralized. There should be a place for everyone and financial incentive to keep all them in check. At least for now ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

Decentralization of responsibility - part 2 With the exponential growth of the infrastructure, the number of different protocols, APIs, layers, contracts, etc. that are interdependent will also grow respectively. As will the number of bugs, exploits and other system downtimes We should remember, that both in advanced web2 and in web3 we heavily rely on technology. Technology performs way better than people in questions that we find interesting in finance, precisely keeping track of global tokens exchanges between peers, balances of all market participants, and other data-heavy tasks (in volume). But technology doesn't appear on it's own. At the end of the day, it is at most a very sophisticated software, written by mere mortals just like us While we praise the technological advancement, there is still plenty of space for regular human errors that you simply can't fully avoid in software development. In traditional financial systems, all institutions are centralized, they expand from the center, from top to bottom. Crypto, on the other hand, is built on the idea of decentralization and thus there are lots of products that are native to that concept, with no single-responsibility body. They expand by the will of entities wanting to join the protocol/system And I repeat the question here: how do we advance when something goes wrong? Do we fully embrace a concept of DYOR not only in personal finance, but also in business side of the ecosystem, or borrow web2 concepts like law and try to bring it onchain.. It's a difficult paradigm question that is still yet to be answered. And as always, advancements here will be made by some techno apostles, true saviors, as we can't expect absolutely everyone to be self-aware of every action, be tech-savvy enough to read open-source code. We want to speed things up and make them easier, not the opposite ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

Decentralization of responsibility Wanted to share a quick thought with you that was born after yesterday's Telegram crypto bot glitch and recent VOW exploit (GALA 2.0 hello). I'm sure those who were fast with their actions are pretty glad these events happened as they made some significant profits out of thin air. In general these events can be viewed as negatives They are negatives in the optics of 'something unintended happened, malicious people used it in their interest disregarding ecosystem damage and now there are people who are mad'. But every negative has a good side to it if you look closely. The question I was pondering on a bit is the responsibility shift In classic world (web2) we have centralized organizations responsible for most situations. When something happens we can at least try to use litigation mechanisms and force to get damages repaired to some extent. In web3 we rely on technology and actors themselves. We at least declare that we want decentralization of everything. But that comes at cost of sharing responsibility as well. If you are the user you are responsible for your funds safety and no one will bail you out. If you are a service provider/product owner, no one will save you if your tech get exploited/lags to your disadvantage After the lag, would you go now to the tg crypto bot creators to get your damages repaired if your service used their API and got abused cause of glitch? Or do you take responsibility yourself, since you didn't implement necessary prevention mechanism to detect 'out of normal price' anomalies? Surely when you get burnt you want a first option and most likely will even try to refer to web2 world for that to make some legal case But the bigger questions should be asked: what do you do when technology everyone relies on fails? Who do you blame? How do you fix it? How do you prevent it? Maybe we'll have some smart contracts governing other contracts and they would constantly update based on different conditions. Maybe we'll have some responsibility clauses in protocols, I don't know. But it's certainly a good topic to think on ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

Disinformation It actually fits the 'narratives' topic, but I'll cover it separately. We live in the era of global information. Our news feeds, if not filtered enough, are crafted by algorithms promoting all sorts of ideas at different stages of their attention cycle. We see facts mixed with opinions, opinions presented as facts, and facts dismissed as opinions. And its often a mix of work of people pursuing completely opposite goals. They all battle for attention for each and every one of you. Loud lies are extremely good in that, btw, but I didn't tell you that 🀫 Scrolling through 'trending' posts and popular articles may prove worthy of your time in rare cases. If you want to have a general understanding of what 'average Joe' might think, then it works, as most of people don't pay enough attention to presented data, don't check initial sources, don't take a slightest look at the emerged technology. So yeah, the informational background or 'vibe' definitely can be understood via mindless scrolling/reading However, we are here to improve ourselves, to actually get better understanding and not just react to flashy article titles, aren't we? That's why when presented with some data - check it if the source is public. When presented with a statement, check whether it's a fact, a claim or just simply a wrong interpretation. It's 2024, you can fairly correctly check even sources in languages you don't know, as that's a pretty popular source of any lying or focus shifting attempts Of course there is no need to dig up everything you see. That's why I said about 'filtering' news feed of your own. You need a digestible amount of data coming in, and it should be sufficient enough for you to make decisions upon Don't fall for something that 'looks smart/correct' or groundbreaking news that you might see as 'alfa'. Risks of mistakes from believing in disinformation are statistically greater than risks of losing time for an additional check Find an instrument/approach that would have a reputation for data filtering before you see it, that'll save you time and money. Stay safe out there and protect your mind from junk ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

The need for narrative - part 3 When there is no global trend, there is always good old news that form narratives of their own, and you are well aware of that. Markets teach us to buy the rumors and sell the news and it is a strategy many markets participants use. You could see that today with the market feeling good until US CPI and PPI data came in and we saw a red candle of those who 'sold the news'. Works like a charm, even though data was better than anticipated Of course, it is way more complicated on a micro level, than simply making decisions on some narrative. Because there are lots of stories we are exposed to, lots of stories we don't even have a slightest idea about, and someone is surely making their play on them. Everything everywhere at once. That's why there is no simple way to succeed in trading, there is no 'money' button on the charts. There are ways to have a guaranteed success in crypto, but it's not short term and most usually don't like to wait, right? That highlights what I've also mentioned here β€” it's extremely important to have your own vision and you own understanding of the market. And continuously increase your knowledge and improve your understanding Not to sway from story to story in an attempt to find the next shiny thing and catch the final triple bottom, but to have a clear path and understanding of 'what can change my vision' or current market stance. That is needed both for your financial and mental health, as they are usually interlinked. And that's your answer for long-term success. That what'll make you make smart spot investments, getting thoughtful allocations in good projects and consistently 'beat the market' Filter out the noise, think for yourself and DYOR. Stay safe out there ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

The need for narrative - part 2 Remember yourself a week ago? You probably craved for explanation, for some reasonable story to navigate you through uncertainty, to have some understanding of what's going on. Cause we are afraid of uncertainty, we are afraid to be left alone in the dark. And our need for having a story in every action event is what drives others to create them Media tries to look for stories that people want to hear β€” that's why you have so many 'pop' magazines discussing tasteless everyday stuff of popular personalities, they simply bring monetizable eyeballs. The similar approach works in crypto. We want to have a narrative to trade and win in markets' PvP, we want to have a narrative to partially explain our own inner convictions, we want to be a part some visionary group that is early to discover a new trend, so we could profit off it Now many are in search for a new narrative, apart from L1s, DeFi, NFTs and memes. And they surely will find some convincing ones, local or global, but they all will also fade away eventually. Except for one. The crypto market as a whole runs on a strong main narrative β€” that crypto is a true financial revolution. This narrative is so sweet that you almost think it's too good to be true, especially when you see some bad actors in the space The difference from 'created' trends here is that this trend doesn't care about singular failed projects and fake contracts. This trend will never fade out as crypto solves something irreparable, meaning that it can only replace it and never force it to change. And that's all we need ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

The need for narrative - part 1 I've talked about trends and narratives here separately already, you can easily find it, but had a thought today about some interesting aspect of these 2 things. The thought I had was sparked by current market moves and some reaction to it online. With memes bleeding in recent correction and having a basically gambling platform that allows to launch memecoins in a minute with no upfront cost and knowledge, some had their summer ruined (not me, though) We now have had an open portal to techless and knowledgeless projects for couple of months, and it feels that these projects being launched at a rate of hundreds per second (if not more) drained the most degen market participants and killed 'memecoin summer' narrative with constant rugs of all sorts, as degens are usually the loudest. Some surely made it out of the trenches and some will continue to do so, but the general feeling now is that we should look for a different approach And that's exactly what sparked my interest. I remember writing that we constantly create narratives for different reasons, including an attempt to control or manage behavior of the potential 'believers'. And that we do so in every area, from global media to small group chats. Basically my thought was that anywhere we communicate in any form (where there is a presenter and a receiver), we tend to create some sort of a narrative But now I want to highlight that it's not only 1 side that creates narrative and is responsible for it; it's also the receiving side that craves for one, plays their role as well. Yes, we create stories because stories are exactly what we want to read/hear, that's our nature P.S. Keep that last sentence in mind, I'll continue on it tomorrow, gotta go now ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

Communication - part 2 Today we are continuing on yesterday's topic as there are not many newsworthy events prior to this Monday. And it's a relevant observation considering some recent turmoil with certain crypto projects and companies (if you know them, you'll understand why it makes sense) To succeed in facing challenges and misunderstandings, you need personal bravery to address problems. As it's not always easy to confront issues directly and discuss them, especially when emotions run high or when we fear the potential outcomes. However, avoiding these conversations might give you a sense of short-term gain, but in a bit bigger time period it might lead to resentment, miscommunication, and a breakdown in relationships, both personal and professional Bravery in communication means having the courage to express your thoughts and feelings honestly, even when it's uncomfortable. It's about showing up and not ignoring the elephant in the room. It's about both speaking up yourself, and, sometimes more importantly, listening to others. Listening to the other person’s perspective without jumping to conclusions or getting defensive. When both parties come to the table with a willingness to understand and be understood, even the most challenging conversations can lead to growth. It becomes even more important, when you are talking about previously reached agreements, but don't have the need/want to make it a legal issue Quality communication is what helps build trust initially and what keeps trust at high level through time. You should aim to be such an open and honest person yourself and keep your circle at the similar personal level, as it'll multiply your mutual efforts. When shit hits the fan, you need people around to be ready to talk through all the hiccups and issues as it's the only way forward In the end, communication and the commitment to build trust are not just about resolving immediate problems β€” they are about investing in the health and longevity of any relationship Having the courage to speak up, and the wisdom to listen, are the keys to navigating all sorts of difficulties. Otherwise, you are doomed, as you'll eventually end up being the one left out ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

Communication Two days ago I wrote a bit on the importance of trust, you can check it if you've missed it. I want to continue with a close topic to that while we sideline $60,500 in preparation for a new week. There is another thing that helps to solidify trust and actually prevent losing it over minor actions/events. This things is called communication, as you could've guessed from that post's title Communication is incredibly important in any interaction, and I mean any, that involves 2 or more human beings. We are social creatures and we need to utilize our social aspect, using it to grow ourselves, our relationships, our communities, and civilization in general. All we have right now wouldn't be possible without collaboration of millions of brilliant people all around the world. And on every step of that journey, communication aspect was that mechanism that basically enabled multiple brains to form complex ideas It's not about who chats more or talks lots of nonsense. It's about the ability to be clear in the messaging, correct with the form and having an intent to move the needle of the progress, no matter how small or big it is. In your marriage, friendship and partnership, you'll get to the low point pretty fast if you don't know how to communicate. In building business you need to clearly define your intent for those involved so you could actually reach the correct milestone, not just random stuff that no one cares about And when you have troubles, personal or professional, only communication saves you from a setback and actually helps solve the problem, not to avoid it or enlarge. So please, learn to communicate, it will save you tons of headache. And if you have problems in your circle, try to encourage them to work with you on the communication side If you think that's unrelated to your success both personally and financially, you are incredibly wrong. Think again
He that has a tongue in his head may find his way anywhere

Duality of man Isn't it pretty amusing to see how some of us change narratives whenever the market takes a turn? One day they're all in, bullposting, and the next, they're backing off, pointing fingers, or even doing 180Β° on their stance. It's like watching a weather vane spinning in the wind β€” wherever it blows, they follow. I mean, it makes sense to update your vision if you intraday trade on low timeframes, then of course you have to react to the most recent market position, referencing to the global picture only in rare cases. But there are so many who just switch their thesis as if it's a light switch πŸ’‘ What's really striking is how rare it is to find people who stick to their vision, regardless of market fluctuations. These are the ones who have a clear long-term strategy and aren’t swayed by the daily noise. It only comes from the understanding that markets are inherently volatile, and instead of reacting to every minor change, it makes sense to stay focused on their ultimate goals. These are the people 'keeping' the greed&fear at 20sh points and not at 0. Btw, we are back to neutral at 48, even though we've been extremely fearful just yesterday at 20 😬 Sure, it’s easy to get caught up in the hype or panic when things start moving quickly. But if you’re constantly changing direction, how can you ever expect to make meaningful progress or keep your integrity? The ones who succeed in the long run are those who maintain a steady course, even when the market is testing their resolve There’s a lot of strength in having a solid plan and the discipline to see it through, even when others are losing their heads. So, next time you see the market shift and everyone starts singing a different tune, have a laugh, and then take a moment to reaffirm your own direction. Stick to your vision and let the winds blow where they may. Wind doesn't change your destination point on its own ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

Trust There is a saying that if you want to go fast, go alone and if you want to go far, go together. And it works in many scenarios, especially on the very short timeframes. Being solo provides a privilege of not taking opinion of others into account, there is no need for you to negotiate/agree on your positions towards any questions. It's great, you are free to move fast, break things and progress forward, true solo journey of a spearhead pioneer In reality, how many businesses you see reaching success with solo entrepreneur/very small team? Not much. Being solo works great for testing things and doing what others can't or would've prevented you from, but at some very close point, when you know that the thing you do actually makes sense, you need to partner up. Whether you hire someone or make a partnership, whether in business or in life, joining resources brings way more opportunities for you. That includes opportunities for rapid growth as well, as time is a finite resource and you need to bring on additional expertise to maximize on that So truly, you need a decisive power to be in one hands, but actually have multiple people executing on the decisions, if you want to 'make it' in life. And for all of that to work, in any form of cooperation there is a very important factor called trust. Our civilization have dealt with it in terms of legal process and made trust measurable. It's possible to fix your degree of trust in the contract and later defend it in court. But you won't go to court over personal matters that are outside of the contractual/civil/or any other law, will you? And that brings me to the point I've thought of today. Around 2 weeks ago I wrote here that I look for diamonds for my inner circle. And it wouldn't be possible to attract those diamonds and have great relationship with those people if there was no trust between us. I am truly grateful for everyone making it possible for us to live this life and enjoy all it has in store. My advice is: make partnerships that build trust on top of any contractual agreements, find life partners and friends who radiate trustfulness (beware those, who try to be 'the guy' too much). If you do that, you'll be unstoppable, as there simply won't be many scenarios that could break your 'pack' of trustworthy people When there is trust, there is safety and progress, so value it accordingly ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

Keeping your head in check In the game of life, especially when it involves your wallet, keeping a cool head isn’t just good advice β€” it’s crucial. Whether you’re deciding on a new apartment or diving into the rapid world of market trading, the ability to stay calm and collected can save you from all sorts of errors. And since our world is mostly materialistic, from impactful financial mistakes that hit you hard as well Tell me, who sold on Monday, who fixated a loss on their capital? Most of the selling is irrational. It all started with big guys, of course, they are always the first to unload, but they are also usually the first to buy back. If you caught a moment and got a better entry, hats off to you. But panic and stress affect your reasoning and always cause losses in the long run. If you want to 'win', your actions should be based on the strategy, not on an attempt to call the final bottom or top, as you couldn't do that consistently enough. I've written about it before Of course acting on emotion or guessing the right moment can bring you more Xs on your trades, but the math is usually stacked against you. You might say that sniping the 'next PEPE' is surely gonna take you from rags to riches, but are you sure you are the one to find this next gem? Look at the recent DJT events. CT was all over this token at some point, trying to convince that D.Trump is behind it, creating a narrative for themselves and others, having elections side of the story on their side, especially with a rising Polymarket popularity. Then it appeared that it was just B.Trump (allegedly) and M.Shkreli. But the coin survived that informational hit, making you think that it might be worth to bet on it. But look at it now, it got literally rugged πŸ’€ Another chunk of experience for some, huh? Unless you make random investments part of your strategy, as if you had a bot to snipe all coins with viral potential and bet X$ on each of them, you need to think before you act. It takes effort to think, I know, but you got this. From making a transaction to another address to putting an order in the market, think first, act later and you'll be significantly ahead of the average market participant. Remember, in this world, at the end of the day, you are the one responsible for things happening to you Find an idea that makes sense from multiple points of view and stick to it, don't get irrational on every market move, cause you gonna be slayed otherwise. It's not over for us So, we actually managed to keep BTC above $50k twice (with short dips to high 49s) and grass is a bit greener than it was before. Market janitors took some blood from the streets, but there is still the stench in the air. I'm not sure that there won't be another attempt to do so, but we look better now and it's a good thing But the world is a bit nuts at the moment. When financial markets are suffering, we have former US President entertaining audience on a stream with staged irl audience (I'm not talking about rallies). We have reports on NVIDIA CEO loading off some (>$300mil) of his shares in July. We have Japan's CB statement tomorrow after trilateral meeting on current situation. That could bring some motion to the market, because their actions earlier were kind of the main triggers of yesterday's situation. And political turbulence around the world didn't magically vanish But the summer is slowly coming to the end, with lots of people who 'sold in May' potentially coming back. Maybe they will have something to say as well. The 'cash' will always come back to the markets, unless we wipe ourselves out as a species. Very short term - still uncertainty (thx to many who wanted some discounts, but didn't bid immediately after getting them). Other than that - we are still going higher than ever before, as nothing has changed for me fundamentally Don't listen to doomers, it's actually not over for us, far from it πŸ˜‰ ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

Black swans? I'm pretty sure that most of you are familiar with a concept of black swan event. In case you don't - it's an event that is seemingly unpredictable and when occurs negatively impacts the market in a highly disruptive way. However, this Monday is not it. It's not a black Monday, more like a red Monday or bloody Monday (my british friends would love that name) if you wish. But It's not the end of the world What we see right now is not a consequence of rates staying unchanged, or unemployment rates, or some geopolitical turbulence. There is no black swan event, no simple logical explanation for current situation, but lots of fud. While markets are surely rational in a long run, we are still a bunch of emotional creatures who managed to develop their society to be able to asynchronously exchange assets 24/7. And of course both retail and institutional participants can be highly irrational at times, especially when in sync (maybe Mercury is at fault this time, who knows 🧐) It's not the crypto that got hit with $1B in liquidations, literally all the financial world is bleeding. Volatility is incredibly high, off-hours trading sessions for trad markets were halted. Giants are bleeding, and someone will definitely try to drink that blood. It 's certainly not the first time something like this happened in the markets, but surely a very unpleasant event for someone unexperienced. Well, they got their experience now, huh? No one knows what's going to happen later today, tomorrow or in a week from now. Not TA/WA traders, not your favorite influencer, not TV anchors, not populist politicians. That's your short-term fud. But markets always come back. You gotta collect your head and see through it. The dust will settle and you'll have a chance to buy a dip if you still have capital to allocate. The only question is to time the correct dip P.S. Try to stay sane, It's harsher than exactly a month ago, but your sanity is your best companion here. Use some time to build your relationships and enrich your expertise so you could capitalize on it. Stay safe out there ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY

Controlling the narrative - part 2 We, as social creatures, crave for community and others' opinions. That's why celebrity coins are even a thing, no fundamentals, just vibes of the people around. We also refer to experts, influencers, news channels, etc. for such a valuable resource - information. That's where the narratives are formed. There are ones covering more or less objective things - like regular life events, either produced by nature or man-made (FED meetings, natural disasters near mining centers, etc.). And there are ones created out of thin air, like your childhood crush or favorite public figure launching a 'surely disrupting coin aimed at gathering the most active community for the benefit of all' And you can observe these stories being created in real time. When we talk about market, you can see two different opinions about it's direction, and, if framed correctly, both can be correct, even though they could appear completely opposite at first, especially on lower time-frames. It's mainly the optics of the author and the timing that decide correctness of specific opinion at the point of time Trump conference speech, Harris rumors on approaching crypto companies, German gov selling, Mt.Gox, silk road, other news and events that may shake the market a bit. Yesterday you could see some people saying that we are back at $70k level (even though we only had single one-minute candle hitting it) and the money is already growing on trees. Some said that we couldn't fixate at this level, so its actually over for us and we ain't approaching ATH any time soon. The reality is - in a day or a week anything can happen for hundreds of reasons. Your task, if you want to understand general direction that can surpass any attention spikes and local narratives influence, is to filter through and look for the bigger picture (I know its a clichΓ©). Treat your attention carefully, as its part of a limited resource called your time ⏳ My narrative, however, stays unchanged, and I stand unbothered. Controlling the narrative - part 1 Unlike traditional markets or tradfi, where fundamentals like earnings reports and economic indicators play heavy role in guiding investments, the crypto market is still relatively young and heavily influenced by the various narratives that capture the collective attention of its participants. You can argue that tradfi is also shifting this way, especially with last year's AI hype, but the point is that money flows where eyeballs are at πŸ€‘ Narrative control is about crafting and steering such stories that define a project's perceived value and potential. In the age of digitalization, where information is abundant and attention is ridiculously scarce, the ability to control the narrative and ride it can dictate one's success. When a new project is launched, the narrative typically focuses on its potential to disrupt traditional industries, its innovative technology, or the problem it proposes to solve. Everyone everywhere tries to scream that they are the revolutionizers. This narrative, if compelling enough, can attract a surge of early adopters and investors, eager to buy into the promise before it materializes Attention management is actually everywhere: businesses ruthlessly fight for new clients every second via ads of different types, you watch educational and entertainment videos, who's authors fight for eyeballs via thumbnails, content quality, speed of delivery, etc. I would even go as far as claiming that attention is one of the main global resources, especially with Internet being broadly available, providing an ability to reach people in US sitting in a small bungalow on some semi-forgotten island There are small narratives and big ones, and crypto is no exception. Take Ethereum smart-contracts for instance - it's a big narrative, and the one actually backed by technology. Smart contracts really brought lots of progress into the space and it was one of the hottest discussion topics and selling points of the whole space for some years. But most of the narratives are short, from couple of days to couple of weeks. That's why if you want to extract maximum value out of the market, you have to be updated on latest news, sometimes even before events become newsworthy. It's a skill, just like the ability to spot a good design, or see through fake promises, and its a skill worth developing for sure More on it tomorrow in part 2, don't miss it, as I'll talk about small narratives and how opposite forecasts can be equally correct ➑️ bingx.com/partner/1 Trading πŸ”€ BingX In-app code - 1 CRYPTO | PERRY
