π©The Dark Triad refers to three interrelated but distinct personality traits:
πNARCISSISMπCharacterized by grandiosity, a sense of entitlement, and a need for admiration. Narcissists often have an inflated sense of self-importance and crave validation from others.
πMACHIAVELLIANISMπInvolves manipulativeness, a focus on self-interest, and a tendency to deceive or exploit others to achieve one's goals. Machiavellians are strategic and unemotional, often viewing others as tools.
π₯PSYCHOPATHYπͺMarked by impulsivity, lack of empathy, and antisocial behaviour. Psychopaths are often callous, have shallow emotions, and may engage in reckless or harmful actions without remorse. π² These traits are associated with socially destructive behaviors and a lack of concern for others.π @Tim_TTalks
π€ilgram's experiment, conducted by psychologist Stanley Milgram in the 1960s, explored obedience to authority. Participants were instructed to deliver electric shocks to a "learner" π£actually an actorπ£ whenever the learner gave wrong answers to a series of questions. The shocks increased in intensity, and although the learner pretended to be in pain, most participants continued to administer shocks under the authority figure's orders, even to dangerous levels.

π€he experiment showed that ordinary people are often willing to obey authority figures, even when it conflicts with their personal conscience or moral values. It highlighted the power of authority in influencing behavior.
