Most mining applications on Telegram are short-lived. The total supply of coins is unlimited. Reward distribution is unbalanced. Participation does not require real spending. Referral and alternative methods of obtaining coins dominate. NFTs have no functional use. Coins do not exist on the blockchain until mining is completed. In this application, coins are mined only in NFT pools and are available on the blockchain from the very first block. There are no alternative ways to obtain coins. Mining is designed for the long term. The total supply of coins is strictly limited. Mining difficulty systematically increases. Participation requires real spending.

A Telegram account is a miner. The Open Dates NFTs are mining pools. A miner joins a pool and generates random numbers (rands). Rand Rate is the number of rands a miner generates per block (R/b). Initial Rand Rate: 2 R/b. Joining a pool and increasing the Rand Rate require spending Telegram Stars.

A new block is created every 2 minutes. At the start of each block, the difficulty is calculated based on the total Rand Rate of all active miners: difficulty = total_rand_rate * 1000 After the difficulty is calculated, a random target number is generated in the range from 0 to difficulty − 1. Until the end of the block, miners generate rands in the same range from 0 to difficulty − 1. For each rand, delta is calculated: delta = |target − rand| The pool whose miner has the minimum delta mines the block. If several pools have the same minimum delta, the winner is chosen randomly among them.

Initial block reward: 100 TOD. Reward halves every 155,000 blocks (≈ 215 days). After 36 halvings, the reward is fixed at the minimum value: 0.000000001 TOD. Total supply: 31,000,000 TOD.

Default pool fee: 2%. The pool (NFT) owner can set the fee from 0% to 50% if they are joined to their own pool. Only a joined owner receives the fee. Otherwise, the fee is burned. Changing the fee requires spending Telegram Stars and takes effect after 720 blocks. The set fee is applied while the owner is joined to their pool. Otherwise, the default fee applies.

The reward, after deducting the fee, is distributed among the pool’s miners in proportion to the total weight of their rands in the block. The weight of each rand is calculated by the formula: weight = 1 / (delta + 1) Miner's reward is calculated by the formula: miner_reward = (miner_weight / total_weight) * (block_reward − pool_fee) miner_weight — the sum of the miner’s rand weights total_weight — the sum of the pool’s rand weights

The server stores the mining state and performs all computations. Creating a new block updates the state. If the server is unavailable, new blocks are not created and rewards are not distributed. When the server is restored, all missed blocks are created and their rewards are burned.

The miner connects a TON wallet and requests coins on the blockchain. The server generates the following data: address — miner’s wallet address amount — amount of pending coins nonce — request number signature — server signature The miner sends a transaction with this data. The mining smart contract verifies the server’s signature and sends coins to the miner’s address.

This application solves the problems of short-lived mining and zero-cost participation. NFTs function as full-fledged mining pools. Data loss in case of server unavailability is excluded. In the future, it is advisable to open the server’s source code and store the mining state in a smart contract. This will eliminate the need to trust the server owner and guarantee the integrity of mining data.
