It’s standing strong, just like us. Every time I hear “Abay Dam,” I don’t think about politics or noise—I think about my people, selling what little they had to buy bonds, students donating their lunch money, farmers giving from their harvest. That’s not just a dam—that’s love, that’s unity, that’s Ethiopia. This dam is my pride. It’s proof that no matter how poor they call us, no matter how much pressure they put on us, we can dream big and actually make it real. Abay is light for my country, power for my schools, strength for my future. So yeah, this is my dam, my Abay, my Ethiopia. And nobody can take that away. @code_it_now
