The only PHP and Laravel courses I would recommend are these free courses from Laracast. You first learn modern PHP with this course http://phpforbeginners.com Then you learn Laravel with this course http://laravelfromscratch.com Done. The only thing you ever need besides this is the Laravel official documentation for references, Laravel news to keep you up to date, and Laracon for inspiration.
