It is not easy to find internship&research positions, but it is possible. This is how my students did it. Recently at @parvozlc, with my "Portfolio accelerator" program and consultation students, I started a 7-day challenge to help them find internship&research positions. We created Linkedin profiles for each of them, and set up their accounts with everything they needed. We also taught them to create their resumes. We asked them to cold DM/EMAIL 5 PhD students and 5 professionals in the spheres they wanted to pursue in the future every day for a week. They were taught to ask PhD students for research assistant and professionals for internship positions, and we provided them with a message template they could use. Sooo, the results? - not everybody was disciplined enough to DM every day, so only a few people finished until the end - those who used the techniques we taught them were able to land positions at amazing places with amazing people. I am putting some of the responses they got above ☝️ Because finding people and DMing wasn't an easy task, some students also utilized their networking to find the positions: - most of them were able to also land amazing positions through "tanish-bilish" What I want to tell you today: - the perfect opportunities you want might be one message away.
