I was learning about how authenticator apps like google authenticator works, and it is really interesting and simple cryptography. Mainly, what they do is on the first handshake, the website(the main app) shares a randomly generated secret key in qr code or smt. The authenticator app then stores that key in local storage. That is the only time the server and the authenticator interact. After that, the app generates different codes every 30 secs on its own. It takes the secret key and the timestamp, combines them, and hashes them into a specific format to create the codes. The server does the same thing on its end. If the codes match, authentication passes.
the main thing that differs this kind of 2FA is it works completely offline since it has everything it needs before hand

I started at 44 when I set a goal in January to reach 100 repos by the end of 2026. Now I'm already at 90 π

Iβm so glad I spent last 1 and half diving deep into software engineering. I was coding every single day, building different projects, watching 100+ hour tutorials, and barely touching AI during most of my learning.
Honestly, I don't think I could have learned as much this year with all the AI buzz. Once you get used to agentic development, I started using Cursor and other agentic tools in late 2025, it's hard to go back to coding and learning the old-fashioned way.

Out of nowhere, Antigravity just turned into this with their new update. It looks more like a terminal or a chat app now than a normal IDE like VS Code used to. Which is fine, but the sad thing is I couldn't SSH into a remote server since it no longer has the Remote SSH extension like VS Code. π

Btw, guys, if this helps, here is the command you can use to port forward and access your remote server locally.

It all comes down to mental readiness. Some days I can code for 7+ hours, work out, go to church, play PlayStation with a friend, and still read a book. Other days, I just take it easy and spend the whole day doing barely anything. Itβs all about balance.

When you habituate yourself to do things that move your life forward, you call them skills.

Vercel has just created a programming language for agents called Zero.
Zero is a compiled, native binary-based language. Its compiler is designed to help agents.
