Involving in a regular physical activity is often recommended by medical workers, yet seems to be ignored by the majority of adults. While there are some grounding motives such as busy lifestyle and uncertainty avoidance, a set of measures like a consolidated practice and finding a constant partner can help to alleviate the issue. Among the prevailing reasons stopping adults from working out, two main ones can be highlighted and attributed as the major obstacles. Initially, since many grown-up people tend to lead rather a fulfilling life consisting of a heavy-loaded nine-to-five work schedule and family matters, they simply fail to make time for extra-curricular activities, even for their own good. Taking up almost two-thirds of their daily schedule, many patients do not will to jeopardize their work performance and a family relationship, instead, they prioritize these two over gym membership, thus refrain from engaging in a physical activity in one way or another. In addition, from an ontogenetical standpoint, the older people get, the less they want to engage in a new activity. People at this stage of life usually have a moderate paced lifestyle where they do not expect and favor radical changes, whereas taking up some sports is exactly the activity which goes against with their natural flow of life. As a result, most adult population see this novelty as a potential threat to their secured and already established way of living, so it is no wonder why they disregard doctors’ physical health recommendations.

Many doctors recommend that older people exercise regularly, but most patients do not follow an exercise routine. Why do you think this happens? How can people be encouraged to exercise regularly? Exercising regularly is recommended by many doctors but many people don’t do exercise regularly. There are a number of reasons as to why this happens and I believe that by taking certain steps, people can be motivated to do regular training. On one hand, these days, many people do not like exercise due to certain factors. The main reason can be considerable decrease in daily walking and running because of advancement on technologies, making people’s life far more easier. Many heavy jobs such as construction and factory works are done by many robots leading to even less daily exercise. Moreover, people had become extremely lazy by being partly addicted to social media. They spent excessive amount of time on social media platforms such as What’s up, Instagram and You tube, making them fell overwelmed and loose motivation to exercise. However, by taking certain actions, people can be encouraged to train. First and foremost, they must be encouraged to train in a community to make exercise more engaging and fun. For example, if people see a group of running people every morning and evening, they also find desire to join a community. This, in turn, result in involving even more people. In addition, people must be told about potential health benefits that comes from simply by exercising. If people are informed that regular training can prevent the occurrence of chronic diseases such as blood pressure, heart attact and obesity causing them to live longer happy life, they are less likely to miss a single training session. In conclusion, social media and development of technology lead to sedentary lifestyle but I believe that by creating a community and motivating to live a health life, people can be encouraged to exercise.
