کلمات مختلفی در انگلیسی معادل a lot of و a large number of هست و کاربرد آنها در بخش writing می تونه نمره شما را در بخش واژگان بالا ببره البته باید با دقت استفاده شوند که کاملا formal باشند : تا حد امکان از کلمات very و a lot of در writingهای خود استفاده نکنید:
- a plethora of sth= a very large number of sth, usually more than you need
- a wealth of sth/information = a lot of sth useful or good
- a very/ good many = a very large number of
- the myriad causes of homelessness=very many
- A myriad of sth/myriads of sth= a very large number of things
- a (whole) host of people/things/changes= a large number of people or things
- We’re still studying a myriad of options
- The city faces a plethora of problems.
- There is, to put it briefly, a plethora of offerings to which the term theory has been applied in sociology.
