Unrelated to crypto: Disagreeing with a politician you support doesn’t automatically make someone the opposition or your enemy. Labeling people this way without reason only creates division. Political ideology isn’t as black and white as it’s often portrayed. Humans are nuanced in their views, just as in their politics, and we should remember that when interacting with one another, especially during this time.

Folks, this page is meant to be apolitical. I'm only going to comment on topics of a political nature when they affect the crypto markets, and right now, they are undeniably affecting the crypto markets. Some think it's short-sighted to look at a one-day dump and conclude that the tariffs are bad. The truth is, the market has been in a downward trend as a result of Trump and his policies since the day he entered office. This is worth discussing because it directly impacts the market I cover, especially when analyzing rug pulls and scams. Ignoring the larger systemic impacts is naive at best and enabling at worst. Bro is out here literally scamming the whole country, and somehow, people in the comments are still telling me to "pipe down" or "stay in your lane." In my opinion, this is exactly the kind of thing I should be discussing right now. Ignoring how politics shape markets is a disservice to anyone trying to navigate this space. Let’s call it what it is: a macroeconomic scam with ripple effects that touch every sector, from crypto to traditional finance. Staying silent or not calling this as I see it is not the way.

Looks like tariffs were indeed not priced in.

What’s interesting about the tariffs is the lack of support—even from those who usually back the president. The same goes for what is happening with DOGE and Elon Musk. They seem to be operating in an information bubble, completely disconnected from public sentiment. All they had to do was focus on building a strong economy, and they’d be popular. No one—even their strongest supporters—asked for them to burn it all down.

Would be fun and entertaining to see what would happen if everyone pulled all their funds off of Binance at exactly the same time.

The thing CEXs fear most is that crypto traders will one day wake up and make them irrelevant. Let’s turn their nightmare into reality: always self-custody your assets and trade on DEXs whenever possible. Stop giving centralized exchanges your trading fees, and most importantly, stop trusting them to custody your funds.

The one counterpoint I could make, out of fairness to Binance, is that the entire crypto market hasn’t had a great year so far. That said, Binance has listed 27 tokens this year, and only 3 of them are in the green. Your odds of buying a new Binance listing and turning a profit aren’t very high. https://x.com/dethective/status/1907191227398730167

$TRUMP token set to unlock 20% of its supply on April 17th. Remember, the president and his team will hold around 80% of the total supply and unlocks occur throughout his presidency. At this rate, the token will be completely worthless by the time Trump leaves office if not before.

If the entire space collectively stopped using Binance, they’d no longer be the absolute terror they are on this industry. All they do is list scams, and they’re no better than any of the other rotten CEXs out there despite their market share. Stop giving them your money, and they’d quickly become irrelevant.

Even if Vine does eventually relaunch, odds are pretty good it won't be tied to a Pump fun shitter when that does happen.

Another beautiful day in Binance crime land.
Another beautiful day in Binance crime land.

Here’s an idea that’s been floating around. Some people have gotten pissed at me for calling out a scam at the top of the chart, instead of when it was sitting at $50k before more people got involved. But honestly, I prefer calling a scam at the top because it gives more people the chance to exit with a profit if they happen to see my post. Calling out every $100k market cap scam doesn’t have nearly the same impact as exposing a big-money scam at $200 million. One is clearly more important than the other. And let’s be real—calling out every low-cap scam gets boring fast, especially when the market is hot and there are thousands of new coins launching daily.

Still can’t believe Hayden ā€œPork Chopā€ Davis was running circles around the Solana trenches, as well as many of the largest projects within the ecosystem, for months before anyone cared to notice. What’s more surprising is that, for the most part, people have now stopped caring as he continues to cash out his ill-gotten gains on an almost daily basis. Winning.
