The Future Generations of Scientists (FGS) 2024 Summer Program
The FGS Summer Program is designed to cultivate well-rounded, open-minded individuals, keen on exploring diverse disciplines. Our aim is to assist students in discovering their interests and strengths, and to develop their ability to analyze and connect global events with their chosen fields of study. We emphasize the importance of understanding current world events and their interconnectedness, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills. Our curriculum is designed to help students draw meaningful connections between global happenings and their field of study, enhancing their ability to think critically and globally. This holistic understanding is crucial in nurturing global citizens.
We recognize that many of our students aspire to join top universities. Therefore, our program offers a glimpse into the academic rigor and environment of such institutions. Our classes, led by experts and top university students, provide varied perspectives across different fields. We strive to bring together a diverse pool of teachers from multiple continents, offering our students unique insights into how various fields are approached and studied around the world.
Ultimately, our summer program encapsulates these elements, striving to broaden perspectives and provide a transformative educational experience.
Eligibility
- Minimum B2 level of English.
- Be a high school student. This includes incoming high school students and students currently on a gap year.
- Open to applicants from all countries.
- Be an open-minded person, ready to learn about various fields, including potentially unfamiliar ones.
- Be a good performing student.
- A recommendation letter from a teacher or mentor is highly recommended, though not compulsory.
- No financial requirements, as our program is fully funded for all accepted participants.
- Acceptance of our privacy policy is required.
- Ensure availability during the camp period. If you have school commitments at the time, contact us so we can provide a supporting letter to your school.
