What does the DOGE-1 satellite do? It's a small satellite that's going to travel to the Moon, orbit it for 2 years, take pictures, and study its surface with cameras and sensors. The really wild part: it's the first time in history someone paid for an entire space launch using only cryptocurrency — in this case, Dogecoin. It was paid directly to SpaceX. It's riding a real rocket from SpaceX (the Falcon 9), nothing made up here. Fun fact: it also has a small screen that will send images and digital artwork from the Moon back to Earth, like space advertising. Important: this satellite has NOTHING to do with Anoncoin or DogeOS — it's from a different company (Canadian) that just used Dogecoin to pay. It's "Doge stuff" in the broad sense, not part of the ecosystem we've been investigating. In one sentence: a normal satellite, paid for in a historic and never-before-done way (with Dogecoin), that's going to take pictures of the Moon for 2 years.
