| 3 |  The way we're designing around and presenting our OG ANDY is in a very deliberate manner that makes us appealing to a large TAM (total addressable market). By honouring Matt Furie's original character intent, like the relatable traits of his Andy from the Boy's Club comic, we're targeting retail/normie participants.
To do this, we've invested in a designer since January that has produced high-quality original artwork that all other copycats have shamelessly stolen from us on occasion. We believe we are producing the highest quality content among all Andy competitors.
Alongside this, we're also interested in actually supporting the Solana network by standing up our own validator. Many Solana memecoins earlier this year claimed to do this, but they rarely did in any meaningful manner. The only memecoin that we're aware of doing this at the level we intend to is BONK.
Running a validator on Solana has a technically and financially high barrier to entry due to the performance requirements that the Solana network requires. Because of this, we've decided to invest nearly $100k into the actual server hardware versus just renting out a machine in the cloud. We're treating this aspect of ANDY in a professional manner rather than simply dabbling in it.
Finally, we've got a larger vision as it relates to onboarding mainstream users to crypto via the application layer. ANDY will be a key entity in this larger platform. Can't share much about this aspect, but having the Solana validator (and a Solana RPC node) is step 1 to this bigger picture plan.
In the near term, people can expect a new website and ongoing original content on our X account.
The Solana validator setup is a timely process because we have to complete certain things according to the Solana Foundation's guidelines to receive their "delegation grant" which helps pay for initial costs that are required to participate as a validator, but aim to have it up in the data centre sometime in January.
