Lesson observation (Ahmadjon aka one of the greatest teachers out there) CELTA certified ✅ General English qanaqa o’tish kerakligini o’rganyabman, elementary gruppa ochganimni bilasiz. Buni o’zimga “challenge” sifatida qabul qildim. IELTS o’tish oson, lekin Ingliz tilini o’rgatish ancha qiyin - buni istalgan ustozdan so’rab ko’ring. #process

#ProTip for Teaching. If you are a teacher, here are my recommendations to improve writing assessment for both General English and IELTS: 1) Don’t correct mistakes, use error correction code such as Sp for spelling mistakes and encourage your students to correct their own mistakes. 2) Keep the balance, write an overall feedback which highlights both good area to motivate students and suggestion to level up their writing. Care when you check and teach. I know it is hard and time-consuming, but who said being a great teacher is easy, right 🙃

These days, it has become commonplace to see people wearing Western clothes rather than traditional ones. Several factors, such as comfort, affordability, and the desire to belong to a community, contribute to this phenomenon, which I perceive as a negative trend overall. The preference for Western clothing, including suits and jeans, stems from various factors. Fashion, for instance, plays a significant role because humans are inherently social beings who seek belonging within a group. Wearing similar outfits makes it easier to feel part of a community and less isolated. Additionally, Western clothes offer great comfort, as many of them are practical for everyday wear. They are often casual, lightweight, and available in a wide range of styles and sizes. This aspect also appeals to clothing manufacturers, as there is a high demand for mass production, allowing them to produce Western clothes at affordable prices for the masses. This stands in stark contrast to traditional clothes, which are often handmade and come with exorbitant prices, leading many people in my country to opt for renting rather than purchasing outright. Thus, comfort and affordability appear to be the driving forces behind this cultural shift. However, despite offering some benefits, this shift towards Westernization is a negative change in the long term. One of the benefits of this Westernization trend is related to safety. Many immigrants strive to assimilate into a new culture to settle down permanently. Switching to Western outfits provides a simple yet effective solution to achieve this goal. For example, Uzbek immigrants often choose modern clothing to avoid scrutiny from Russian police officers, as it helps them blend into the community. Nevertheless, individuals residing in their own country should also represent their national identity, and wearing traditional outfits plays a crucial role in this process. While people typically wear traditional attire on national holidays, governments and various business owners should launch campaigns to reignite interest in unique cultural garments. In fact, a few clothing manufacturers have recently attempted to blend elements of traditional attire with contemporary influences, which has been met with success. This demonstrates that when executed correctly, cultural fusion can benefit not only individuals but also business owners producing such products. In conclusion, the practicality and affordability of Western clothes are making them a preferred choice for an increasing number of people over traditional attire. However, I believe this shift is not a positive one for preserving cultural identity. I hope that both governments and companies will explore novel approaches to make traditional clothing appealing once again in the market. #WordCount 422 words; Feedback by 9r: Overall, the essay is well written and should easily get 8+. ⚡️Underlined good lexis 🗣️Italic for good grammar @AhmadQodiriy

Here's why I stopped liking when people gift me books. 1) "Ever since I became a bookworm, I have bought so many books from the USA, Europe, and local bookshops here in Uzbekistan." 2) My students and close people gave me about 100 books over the last few years. 3) I own an online bookshop called Citybooks Official. 3) I mostly read original English books and you don't know what kinds of books I like. Before you say anything, I AM NOT giving away these books because: a) I used them to built up a library for my students and another one at home. b) I genuinely want to read them myself. I know that you may not be planning to gift me anything, but if you are, I will use these hashtags to express my desires) #DreamBuys for big things #GottaGetIt for smaller things. Thanks for (not) reading this long post😁 @AhmadQodiriy
