Dear my fellow class of 2024. Congratulations with graduating school after 11 years ππ
We thought we had plenty of time, but now it is the last day of school. Today is an important milestone of your life. You literally became an adult, so enjoy your last day at school. It isn't the end, it is beginning of your life journey.
Have fun with your classmates

Guys, some of you may know that I had consultation with Abdulaziz Sobirov, Harvard class of 2028. It was super useful. He was sincere, and tried to help me as much as he could.
During the interview I learned a few things.
Here are my main takeaways from the interview.
What extracurricular activities should I do?
A: Don't do something just for the sake of admission process. Do what you enjoy. Also, try to help your others, try to solve problems in your community.
P.s Abdulaziz taught students in need for free, and he worked as tour guide in Khiva, which showed he isn't selfish; rather he wants to help others, and make world better place.
Q: How many universities should I apply?
A: Don't apply to random colleges. Do your research, and narrow down your college list from 10 to 15 schools which fits you well, and apply.
Q: I live in a small town, like a village. So, doesn't it affect negatively to my application
A: Use your backround to your advantage. You can't change the fact that you live in such place, but you can use it in effective ways. For example, you can write what you do at village like doing farm job, planting crops.
Q: How can I write compelling essays?
A: You need to improve your writing, and analyze other sample essays to write good essay.
Overall, it was a great pleasure to talk with him, and I can say to get into top universities, you need to be good person, and do your best in anything. The way you do one thing is the way you do everything. I am sure Abdulaziz tries to do his best in anything he tries. For example, he got very high score in SAT(1560 superscore) IELTS 8.5, and helping people as much as he can. Thank you bro for everything. May Allah bless you.
There were some other things that we discussed, so if you have any other questions you can write them down in comment.

By sharing this video, I don't want to demotivate you. Rather, I shared it so that you will be ready to the challenges that you may face in Canada.
In short, studying in Canada isn't as good as in the USA, but it is way better than studying in Uzbekistan.
