Wir können leider nicht auf alle Fragen einzeln eingehen, aber versuchen, die Ideen und Wünsche von euch, wenn möglich, umzusetzen. Die häufigste Frage war von euch: „Kann man spenden?“ oder „Gibt es ein Crowdfunding?“ Nein, wird es in der Form nicht geben. Nicht, weil wir keine finanzielle Hilfe benötigen, sondern weil: Nur mit Geld macht die Party auch keinen Sinn. Dafür brauchen wir euch auf dem Dancefloor. Aber es gibt die Möglichkeit, zwei verschiedene Tickets für den Sektor-Geburtstag am 05.09.2026 zu kaufen. das: (ich komm auf jeden Fall) Ticket ab 17,- €. das: (ich komm leider nicht, möchte aber trotzdem supporten) Ticket ab 1,- €. Statement zum Gerücht „Der Sektor schließt bald“ Zwischen Beton, Stahl und Schweiß ist über viele Jahre mehr entstanden als nur ein Club. Ein Ort, der von Menschen lebt. Von Künstler, Kollektiven, Crews und Gästinnen. Von Begegnungen. Von Nächten, die mehr waren als nur ein Wochenende. Dafür danken wir allen Supporterinnen von Herzen. Aber auch solche Freiräume sind nicht unverwundbar. Die Realität ist, dass die Kosten seit Jahren steigen. Energie, Personal, Instandhaltung, Technik und Waren – alles entwickelt sich in diese Richtung. Gleichzeitig merken wir, dass sich viele das Ausgehen immer seltener leisten können. Und das verstehen wir. Dazu kommt, dass es ein immer größeres Angebot an Partys gibt. Und diese Vielfalt ist auch gut. Nur macht genau diese Entwicklung Orte wie den Sektor nicht mehr finanzierbar. Clubkultur entsteht nicht von allein. Sie lebt davon, dass Menschen daran teilnehmen. Dass Räume existieren, in denen Kultur wachsen kann – fernab von Beliebigkeit und mit genügend Abstand zum Kommerz, so wie wir es immer versucht haben, bestmöglich umzusetzen. Wenn diese Räume verschwinden, verschwindet nicht einfach ein Club. Es verschwindet ein Stück Subkultur. Wir schreiben das nicht, um Mitleid zu erzeugen, sondern weil wir glauben, dass Ehrlichkeit dazugehört. Setzt sich die aktuelle Entwicklung so fort, wissen wir nicht, ob wir einen nächsten Geburtstag feiern werden. Wenn der Sektor für euch mehr ist als nur eine Adresse im Industriegelände, dann zeigt es. Kommt vorbei. Tanzt. Unterstützt Veranstaltungen. Erzählt anderen von diesem Ort. Denn Evolution funktioniert nur, wenn sie gemeinsam getragen wird. Eure Sektorianer*innen. Statement Regarding the Rumor “The Sector Is Closing Soon” Amid the concrete, steel, and sweat, more than just a club has emerged over the years. A place that thrives on people—artists, collectives, crews, and guests. On encounters. On nights that were more than just a weekend. For this, we thank all our supporters from the bottom of our hearts. But even spaces like this aren’t invulnerable. The reality is that costs have been rising for years. Energy, staff, maintenance, technology, and supplies—everything is trending in this direction. At the same time, we’ve noticed that many people can afford to go out less and less often. And we understand that. On top of that, there’s an ever-growing selection of parties. And this diversity is a good thing. But it’s precisely this trend that’s making places like Sektor no longer financially viable. Club culture doesn’t just happen on its own. It thrives on people’s participation. It depends on spaces where culture can flourish—free from arbitrariness and with enough distance from commercialism, just as we’ve always tried to implement as best we can. When these spaces disappear, it’s not just a club that vanishes. A piece of subculture disappears. We’re not writing this to elicit pity, but because we believe honesty is part of it. If current trends continue, we don’t know if we’ll be celebrating another birthday. If Sektor is more to you than just an address in an industrial park, then show it. Come by. Dance. Support events.
