I was a dumb dumb yesterday and used low res textures. This has now been fixed.

NadΓ©lyn is coming alive~ Slowly!
After sculpting and refining, once I was happy with the base layout and looks, I build up some textures. Mostly place holders.
Then I gave the bust a quick rig and suffered through some weight painting issues. Set up a lighting scene, finding some camera angles...
And now we're here.
This marks the end of phase one: making a bust! Now I can start mentally preparing for making a whole body next. ππ¦

Found some time to start to invent the general design in 3D. I'm quite pleased with how she's looking. Of course plenty will change over time, but this is a solid start imo.
Next up would be to build a proper sculpt of her head with all details in. Followed by some texturing, simple posing, and then we can work with that later when making a full body.

Today I learned how to use mocap files and apply them to my model. Results are far from perfect but it's something!
This'll come in handy one day~

Khael first allowed his micro humans to get in the water. He stripped down before them, feeling all those eyes on him, in awe at his towering form.
Stepping over into the tub, he creates waves upon waves. Some manage to hold onto the rubber ducks, others swim along.
In the end, when the dragon settled, people began to enjoy themselves in his company. Some would climb his torso, reaching the wooden platform, from which they can dive into the water again.
Khael's eyes wander over them, deciding quietly which of his humans would be his next private plaything.

Of course I started with a simple idea that only got bigger and bigger (pun intended). Learned a lot about volumetric fog and water creation. It's not amazing looking but does the job, for which I'm happy!

In actuality, I wanted to include this in the last video, but time/energy constraints and whatnot got in the way.
Always wanted to play around with more vehicles (and do a silly recreation of a certain movie scene).
