As the situation involving the theft of funds from one of our users received significant attention within the community, we consider it important to provide an official statement. First of all, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the community members who helped identify the vulnerability and take rapid action. Special thanks to MEXC exchange for the timely freezing of funds on the attackers’ accounts. We would also like to extend special gratitude to the private leadership community Genesis Club, whose members conducted their own investigation and helped quickly identify the details of the incident, as well as the behavioral patterns used by the attackers. At the current moment, the stolen funds have been frozen on the MEXC side and will be returned to the affected users. The company has already implemented additional measures to strengthen infrastructure security, including updates and reinforcement of the protection mechanisms within the Axiome Connect module. It is important to note: No vulnerabilities have been found in the smart contract code of the Collexium and RIP Candle projects. After all technical checks are completed, both projects will continue operating normally.
