One of the reasons why people are unable to continue with lessons like this is the absence of revision and going over what they’ve studied previously. As lessons progress, these previous points are brought up from time to time, and so the student’s mind becomes diverted from the lesson to trying to recall what was mentioned, “we studied this, what was it again? I’ll have to revise it”, and whatever else may come to mind. In the process, the student’s mind has been absent from the current lesson altogether or somewhat. And after a few lessons, the build up of this causes one to quit. Many of us have gone through this before and can relate. Let’s not do it again, make sure the points are understood, if not there are means of asking questions and getting help, and likewise the recordings are available. May Allah grant us all success

A question was asked, Does the meaning of the words change if tajweed rules are not applied? No, the meaning of the words will not change, so long as the pronunciation of the word does not change in and of itself and the word becomes something else, then the meaning of it will not change if a rule is applied or not.
