“Why Qaedah al-Baghdadiyyah? Why not do Qaedah an-Nooraniyyah? What’s the difference between the two?” The sheer number of examples to help the student become strong and grounded in each new rule is a sufficient reason as to why Qaedah al Baghdadiyyah is far better for developing an excellent Qur’an reading ability, by the permission of Allah! The video above shows precisely that, and that’s just practising the fat’hah section! Yes, that does mean it’ll take longer to move onto Qur’an. But it means the student will be far more grounded, and far more fluent when transitioning from Qaedah to Qur’an.

We come close to the end of our lessons on tuhfatul atfaal I highly encourage everybody to revise over and make sure that that which has previously been explained, is clear to them and understood, if not they may ask questions to remove that obstacle. It is highly likely that Monday will be our final lesson, in sha Allah Thereafter, the exam will be made available for a set period of time for those who wish to attain certification وفقكم الله
