1️⃣Gold is currently trading around 4,431 after a major bullish expansion from the 4,280–4,300 zone. Price aggressively displaced through 4,350 → 4,400 → 4,440 before eventually reaching the 4,490–4,510. From there, momentum shifted and price delivered a sharp bearish displacement into 4,400–4,412. The reaction from those lows has been strong, but price is currently consolidating rather than confirming a full bullish continuation.
2️⃣The recent sell-off aggressively cleared internal sell-side liquidity below 4,455 → 4,440 → 4,420 and wicked through the 4,400 region. That sweep produced an immediate reaction, suggesting liquidity below the prior lows was used to facilitate the bounce. On the upside, the most relevant untouched buy-side liquidity now sits around 4,455–4,470; reclaiming that region would significantly strengthen the bullish case.
3️⃣The bearish displacement left a sizeable IMB around 4,452–4,470, making this the primary upside magnet if the recovery continues. This is also the area from which the strongest portion of the sell-off originated, so it should be treated as both an imbalance and potential resistance. A rejection there would keep bearish continuation toward the lows in play.
4️⃣On the downside, 4,390–4,400 is the major sell-side liquidity. Price has already wicked through this area but has not established sustained acceptance beneath it. If 4,390 breaks decisively, the next meaningful downside liquidity sits around 4,370–4,350. Until then, price is essentially caught between the 4,390–4,400 demand and the 4,452–4,470 bearish imbalance. | 828 |

| 5 | One more announcement for today, “I’m officially retiring from news trading, at least publicly.”
I’m not going to promote it here anymore, trade huge amounts on news, or chase those massive news wins like I used to.
Maybe at some point I’ll still trade news privately with a small amount — $1K, $2K, maybe $3K — just for myself. If it works, it works. But I’m done full-porting serious money trying to hit those huge payouts.
I’ve already made a lot of money from news trading and I’m well beyond break-even overall. But these past few months have genuinely made me lose interest in it.
This trade was basically my final attempt. If it had worked, I probably would’ve continued into CPI and other upcoming news events. Since it didn’t, I think this is the right point for me to stop.
My normal trading is already more than profitable enough for me to sustain myself, so there’s really no reason for me to keep taking this level of risk especially when news trading isn’t even as profitable for me anymore.

| 6 | A lot of people are getting confused by the loss screenshot I shared in the group and think I had around $18 million sitting in my account. That’s not the case.
The ~$18 million figure you’re seeing is the leveraged position size, not my actual account balance.
I had around $18,000 of actual capital in the trade roughly $8,000 from the whale account and $10,000 of my own funds and basically full-ported it.
I’m using 1:1000 leverage, so:
$18,000 × 1000 = roughly $18 million in market exposure.
That’s why you’re seeing a number close to $18 million on the screenshot.
Hopefully that clears up the misunderstanding. If I genuinely had $18 million of my own money to throw into a single account, I definitely wouldn’t be this upset over losing. | 912 |
