A response to the following 4 demands is expected by Wednesday 12/17 at 12:00pm: 1. Palestinians come within 5 feet of Grand Central Station doors, and police lock all entrances, preventing New Yorkers from entering or exiting during rush hour. Right now 8 political prisoners for Palestine in the UK are on hunger strike, risking their lives to resist the ongoing genocide in Palestine and political imprisonment and repression at home. #FreeThemAll Rally has dispersed! #withinourlifetime @ Prisoners4Pal and @ wawog_now on X/Twitter

🚨🇵🇸From the UK to Palestine, from the Filton 24 to Marwan Barghouti to Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya to the 10,000 Palestinians in the occupation’s dungeons, the struggle of our prisoners is a global struggle against zionism, imperialism and injustice. #FreeThemAll Marching now East 47th St and third Avenue!

🚨🇵🇸The hunger strikers are part of the Filton 24, activists who have been imprisoned without trial for over a year for taking a stand against the UK’s role in manufacturing the weapons used to massacre Palestinian families in Gaza day in and day out. Their primary target has been Elbit Systems, the largest israeli weapons company, and to shut it down and kick it out of the UK. #ShutDownElbit

The collective hunger strike was launched 43 days ago by Qesser Zuhrah and Amu Gib. Since then Heba Muraisi, Jon Cink, Tueta Hoxha, Kamran Ahmed, Lewie Chiaramello and Umer Khalid have joined. Their hunger strike is the largest strike in the UK in over 40 years. Five of the hunger strikers have already been hospitalized. Some are at risk of imminent death. All of them in critical condition. From the UK to Palestine, from the Filton 24 to Marwan Barghouti to Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya to the 10,000 Palestinians in the occupation’s dungeons, the struggle of our prisoners is a global struggle against zionism, imperialism and injustice. As the UK hunger strikers continue to resist within the prison walls, join Within Our Lifetime and Writers Against the War in Gaza to respond to the global call to action to mobilize outside UK embassies and consulates and uplift the following demands: Free the Filton 24! Free all Palestinian prisoners! End the repression! Shut down Elbit! De-proscribe Palestine Action. For more updates from the UK follow @Prisoners4Pal and visit prisonersforpalestine.org/resources/ to print out flyers, zines and resources to distribute on campus, in your community and post in the streets. From Gaza, the First Intifada spread to the West Bank, and then on to every corner of historic Palestine. Over the course of the next six years from 1987-1993, the First Intifada was led by the Palestinian masses, who not only took to the streets to protest and resist the occupation, but also formed local committees to organize popular education when schools shut down and coordinated general strikes, economic boycotts of israeli goods and the withholding of taxes to the occupation. Women’s organizations, youth and students and labor unions in particular took a leading role in these committees. Today the Intifada continues in the face of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, ongoing annexation and aggression in the West Bank, and 77 years of the ongoing Nakba. Despite the horrors the US-backed zionist entity has brought upon our people, Palestinians continue to resist and resist and resist: From Beit Lahia to Beit Lahm, from Khan Younis to Tulkarem, from Al-Quds to Nablus, from Rafah to Jenin, from the occupied interior to the camps, to everywhere Palestinians are living in exile. Until liberation and return within our lifetime, Palestine will continue to resist. (2/2)

GAZA: THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE INTIFADA December 8, 1987 — 38 years ago today, the First Intifada broke out in Palestine when a zionist truck driver ran over a row of cars filled with Palestinian workers in Jabalia Camp in Gaza, murdering four young men. In response, thousands of Palestinians took to the streets in protest. The next day on December 9, the Palestinian youth of Gaza from Jabalia to Nuseirat directly confronted occupation forces, launching a new chapter of the Palestinian struggle for national liberation. Today we join Palestinians in Gaza, Palestine and around the world in honoring the memory of Refaat Alareer, the professor, activist, writer, poet, martyr and voice of truth, who was assassinated by the zionist entity two years ago on December 6, 2023 during the ongoing genocide.

As an IOF reservist, today he infests campuses hosting talks that platform Zionist propaganda & Islamophobia, glamorizing the same tactics that murder our people back in Palestine. After 2 years of brutal genocide in Gaza and over 700,000 martyred, we must continue refusing these fascists a moment of peace. 🔻🇵🇸 SPREAD LIKE WILDFIRE. BRING YOUR COMRADES, FAMILY, AND FRIENDS. MASK UP, AND MOVE IN NUMBERS. DISRUPT THOSE MANUFACTURING THIS BRUTAL GENOCIDE. (2/2)

🚨EMERGENCY ACTION 🚨 📅 TODAY - Monday, December 1st 📍John Jay College - 524 W 59th st, NY, NY 10019 ⏰ 5:30 PM 🇵🇸CUNY CUNY YOU'RE COMPLICIT - WAR CRIMINALS ARE NOT WELCOME ON OUR CAMPUSES‼️ IOF war criminal Stav Cohen is scheduled to speak at John Jay College today, at 6:30. Mobilize at John Jay College TODAY at 5:30, to make it clear that genocidal war criminals are NOT welcome here. Stav has shamelessly served for over 12 years in the fascist IOF, completing hundreds of genocidal missions in Gaza & the West Bank. He has served in the Duvdevan unit during 2014; the same special ops death squad that sent Palestinians into tunnels to test for booby traps, and the same unit that's responsible for hundreds and thousands of Palestinian deaths, like Shireen Abu Akleh.
