The right/left paradigm is somewhat meaningless. IMO unless you have embraced some degree of hard 'natural values' Evolian 'tradition', you are living in some degree of fairyland. Of course it is not 'the right' as commonly considered, it is outside of abrahamism or liberty (its values are found in reading classical Greco-Roman texts). Though it is barbaric and bohemian in some ways (despite being the true cornerstone of civiliziation) it is more associated with the 'right' only because it is a place where heartwarming concepts like equality (viewed with limited skepticism by conservatives) do not exist AT ALL.
America may be the 1st empire to be completely eaten from the inside out. To have lost even the ability to make art at all.

Most people are petty hedonists and it rules their life. They turn away from a confusing world and chase distraction. I have nothing against Thorish hedonism (I probably have more of a capacity for it than most of you) but if it rules your thoughts you are weak and pathetic. Bouts of managed hedonism (seen more as a challenge) > 'the world is meaningless im going to ruin my life with pleasure seeking like an adult baby'

Without a whole society supporting a sane and self-affirming art ethos in all mediums there is not really room or incentives for anyone to get truly great (Mozart, Rembrandt, Brunelleschi, etc). Fucken capitalism and bitcoin will not do it. It's a lot of work.

But I would say myself, in reply to this little ditty, that the indifference of the cosmos (while definitely having some truth) does not exclude any goodness, as subjectively measured, nor does it remove the need for an established objective goodness in purely human affairs.
