1. What is a Pivot table? A Pivot table is a tool in Excel that helps you summarize large amounts of data quickly. It allows you to see important patterns and insights from your data without having to manually calculate everything. Example: Imagine you have a list of sales data, like this: Product   RegionSales    Amount Apple      North                 200 Banana   South                150 Apple      North                 300 Banana   South                180 If you want to know how much total sales each product made in each region, a PivotTable can help. Steps to create a PivotTable: Step 1: Select all the data (including headers like "Product," "Region," and "Sales Amount"). Step 2: Go to the Insert tab and click on PivotTable. Step 3: UPECH open a new window where you can select where to place the PivotTable. Choose New Worksheet and click OK. Now, you will see a blank PivotTable. To organize your data: Drag the Product field to the Rows area. Drag the Region field to the Columns area. Drag the Sales Amount field to the Values area. The PivotTable will automatically calculate the total sales for each product in each region. Your PivotTable will look like this: Product     North      south Apple         200          300 Banana      180          150

टैली का इतिहास (History of Tally in Hindi) जिसका फूल फॉर्म है Transaction Allowed in a Liner Line Yards (Tally)। टैली को 1986 में श्याम सुंदर गोयनका और उनके बेटे भरत गोयनका ने बनाया था। टैली का इतिहास बहुत ही रोचक है। कॉटन का बिजनेस आग से नष्ट हो जाने के बाद साल 1986 में श्याम सुंदर गोयनका और उनके बेटे भरत गोयनका द्वारा टैली सॉल्यूशंस की स्थापना की गई थी। इसकी शुरुआत एक अकाउंटिंग सॉफ्टवेयर एप्लिकेशन – प्यूट्रॉनिक्स फाइनेंशियल अकाउंटेंट के रूप में हुई थी। वास्तव में कंपनी की स्थापना साल 1991 में हुई थी और बाद में साल 1999 इसका नाम बदलकर टैली सॉल्यूशंस कर दिया गया। श्याम सुंदर गोयनका एक कंपनी चला रहे थे जो दक्षिण और पूर्वी भारत में प्लांट्स और टेक्सटाइल मिलों को कच्चे माल और मशीन पार्ट्स की सप्लाई करती थी। अपने अकाउंट की गतिविधियों को संचालित करने वाला सॉफ्टवेयर ढूंढने में असमर्थ होने पर उन्होंने अपने 23 साल के मैथ्स ग्रैजुएट बेटे भरत गोयनका को एक ऐसा सॉफ्टवेयर एप्लिकेशन बनाने के लिए कहा जो उनके बिजनेस के वित्तीय खातों को संभाल सकें। जिसके बाद अकाउंटिंग वर्जन का पहला वर्जन MS-DOS एप्लिकेशन के रूप में लॉन्च किया गया। जिसमें सिर्फ बेसिक अकाउंटिंग फंक्शन्स थे और उसका नाम रखा गया प्यूट्रॉनिक्स फाइनेंशियल अकाउंटेंट। । वैसे तो टैली के कई वर्जन है लेकिन लेटेस्ट वर्जन ERP 9 है। Tally ERP 9 stands for Tally Enterprises Resource Planning
