I'm really excited about a design I was working on today. It has a clean aesthetic that I think people will appreciate. There's a nice balance between simplicity and complexity that I haven't achieved before. I truly believe this could be one of my favorite designs so far. Stay tuned for more.

Hey there βοΈ,I was up late last night working on a powerful design piece to raise awareness about the horrific violence against women that has been making headlines lately. This issue is extremely disturbing and unacceptable, and I wanted to create something that captures the pain, entrapment, and screams of the victims while also showing the boldness and strength of women.
The design features stark reds and darker tones to convey the brutality of these acts. Sharp wires represent how victims can feel trapped with no way out. But at the right part of the design there is a large, bold image of a woman - a symbol of resilience in the face of such violence and injustice. All those images are Ai generated.I hope this piece serves as a reminder that violence against women is never ok and that we must continue pushing for a society of respect and safety for all. So this morning I was browsing Instagram looking for design inspiration and I came across a really cool animation effect. So I challenged myself to recreate that effect. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.Tonight, I was feeling a bit confused about what to design, and I thought about creating a poster about #Jesus. Guess what? I found a lot of inspiration, but nothing quite fit what I had in mind, so I used this image and designed the poster myself. I tried to show the #pain He went through with the red blood and the dark color, which represents our #sin. And the bold text saying "PAID" is meant to show that we are saved through believing in #Jesus, through His sacrifice on the cross. Let this design be a quick reminder that Jesus took all your sins and sacrificed Himself on the cross to save you. #poster #Graphicsdesign @designguru01

Wanted to share this carousel I made showcasing the functions of Ethiopia's first satellite, ETRSS-1. From its technical capability to its physical appearance, I tried to visually break down its impressive capabilities in a clean, minimal style.
Already posted it on LinkedIn, but my design fam deserves a look too! As a space passionated, I geeked out over bringing awareness to cool projects like this from emerging space nations.

Hey designers! π Check out this computer maintenance system mobile app UI I recently designed for a client. They wanted a black color scheme, so I went with a sleek glass morphism style (remember that trend I mentioned before?).
After research and wireframing, I moved into high-fidelity design. The attached video shows the final UI along with a basic prototype using simple transitions. The client only asked for the visual designs, but I included the prototype flow as a bonus.

"So I came across some really cool sci-fi/thriller style movie posters on Instagram recently and thought I'd give creating my own a shot. I used an AI tool to generate an eerie futuristic image that gave me vibes. From there I designed a mock poster imagining it as a movie. I'm really feeling how it turned out - got that unsettling vibe just right. Definitely going to keep working on more posters using AI images. Let me know which imaginary movies you want to see posters for next!"

That Abay Bank Logo Cost HOW Much!?
Abay Bank's new #7_million birr logo has people talking - and not just because of the abstract design. That huge price tag begs the question: what were the designers thinking? I'd love to hear their concepts and vision firsthand.
Was it all about connecting in modern ways and appealing to youth? What market research led to this bold new aesthetic? More context could help justify the hefty costs.
Whatever guided the rebrand, you have to give Abay Bank credit for seriously investing in their visual identity. It elevates the whole design industry in Ethiopia to see a major company value branding as a genuine business function.
While opinions may vary on the look, I appreciate this project validating creative work at such a high level. It'll be interesting to see if the new logo proves worthy of its large budget.

So I was looking through some old paper sketches I did over in the past and found one that most ppls really liked. It was on july 27, 2023 I decided to try making this digital painting from the pencil sketch i have designed long before in highschool.
Funny enough I didn't even know why I chose to use Microsoft Paint for the painting! Yes most of u might not even open it if u don't have an Annoying sibling who wants to touch ur PC π to be honest i myself didn't think this old program could do it but I felt like being creative.
It was actually kinda fun playing around with the basic tools in Paint. I've always loved doodling and the simple art of Gawx art really inspires me. Even though it took some time and wasn't as advanced as Gawx art, I'm still proud of how it turned out! I'm sharing because you never know, maybe one day I'll take digital art more seriously (Ai π). For now, I'm just having fun making things in Paint and finding new ways to let my creative side out.
