💼 Why Do Layoffs Happen? It’s Not Always About Performance. Let’s break the myth that layoffs are always due to poor skills or productivity. Many structural and market-driven factors are at play: 🔹 1. Market Slowdown & Budget Cuts When global or local economies slow down, clients reduce their IT budgets. This leads to project cancellations or delays — affecting workforce demand. It's economics, not employee capability. 🔹 2. Loss of Major Clients Companies sometimes lose big accounts due to vendor consolidation or strategic shifts. Entire teams may be let go — not because they underperformed, but because the contract was lost. 🔹 3. Failure to Win New Deals If companies fail to win new bids, especially large projects, they are left with a bloated bench. Layoffs follow due to lack of incoming work — again, not an employee's fault. 🔹 4. Mergers & Acquisitions M&A activity often leads to redundancy in roles. Headcounts are optimized at the org level — not based on individual performance. 🔹 5. Freshers as a Cost-Saving Strategy Companies sometimes replace experienced staff with freshers to reduce salary costs. While skills play a role, it's primarily a cost-driven decision. 🔹 6. Shift in Business Strategy When companies pivot their focus (e.g., moving from legacy systems to AI/Cloud), certain roles may become irrelevant. 🔹 7. Automation & Tech Disruption Emerging tech and automation tools can eliminate manual or repetitive tasks, leading to workforce reductions even in skilled teams. 🔹 8. Geographical Realignment Work may shift across cities or countries to save costs or align with strategy, leading to local layoffs. ✅ Remember: Layoffs are often systemic, not personal. Let’s stop assuming it's always about individual performance.

✅ *Java Inheritance Explained* 🧬👨‍👦‍👦 *What is Inheritance?* Inheritance lets a class (*child*) use the properties and methods of another class (*parent*). 🧬 It's like passing traits from parent to child. *Keyword:* extends *Why use it?* ✅ Reuse code ✅ Organize logically ✅ Promote DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) principle *Example – Animal 🐾 → Dog 🐶*
class Animal {
    void eat() {
        System.out.println("Eating... 🍽️");
    }
}

class Dog extends Animal {
    void bark() {
        System.out.println("Barking... 🐶");
    }
}
*Usage:*
public class Main {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
        Dog d = new Dog();
        d.eat();   // Inherited from Animal
        d.bark();  // Dog’s own method
    }
}
*Real-life analogy:* 👩 Parent class = “Vehicle” 👶 Child class = “Car”, “Bike” They all can start() and stop() but may add their own features too. *Types of Inheritance in Java:* 🔹 Single (A → B) 🔹 Multilevel (A → B → C) 🔹 Hierarchical (A → B, A → C) ❌ Java doesn’t support *multiple inheritance* using classes (use interfaces instead) *React ♥️ for more*

*Encapsulation in Java* 🔐☕ *What is Encapsulation?* Encapsulation means *binding data and methods* that operate on it into a single unit — a class. It also means *restricting direct access* to internal data. 🛡️ *How to apply it:* ✅ Make variables private ✅ Use public getter and setter methods to access/modify them *Example – Bank Account 💰*
class BankAccount {
    private double balance; // 👈 Only accessible via methods

    public double getBalance() {
        return balance;
    }

    public void deposit(double amount) {
        if (amount > 0) {
            balance += amount;
        }
    }

    public void withdraw(double amount) {
        if (amount > 0 && amount <= balance) {
            balance -= amount;
        }
    }
}
*Usage:*
public class Main {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
        BankAccount account = new BankAccount();
        account.deposit(1000);   // 💵 Add money
        account.withdraw(300);   // 🏧 Withdraw money
        System.out.println("Balance: " + account.getBalance()); // 🧾 700.0
    }
}
*Why it's useful:* 🔐 Protects internal data 📏 Validates input (e.g. no negative deposit) 🔧 Easy to maintain and update code later
