What difference between acute osteomyelitis and septic arthritis in clinical features? Septic a. =all joint movement are restricted بس OM بس المفصل الي بي infection يكون restricted ثاني شغله Septic a.= Swelling in joint OM = swelling and tenderness below the joint هذي الفروقات الأساسية الي ذكرهن الدكتور 🙃

What are complications of chronic osteomyelitis if not treated ? 1. Acute recurrent of OM with its completions 2. Pathological fracture 3. Damned nuisance 4. Malignancy in site of infection ممكن squamous cell carcinomas

Post operative هذا هم ممكن يجي اوسكي الخطوات كالاتي 1. Assessment of consciousness level ( time, place,person ) 2. Vital signs : Respiratory rate , BP , pulse, O2 3. General assessment/ if patient in pain, sweaty , Foley catheters ..... 4. Local assessment ( site of surgery) Exposure , نشوف drainage, neurovascular assessment,if there is any signs of ischemia, if he can move it or not 5. Medication Antibiotics, painkillers, thrombolytic 6-8 hours after surgery restore medication بمعنى اذا كان ياخذ ادوية ضغط او انسولين وغيرها من العلاجات يرجع ياخذها اسمح للمريض يشرب بعد ساعتين من العمليه واذا مرت نص ساعه وما تقياء فاخلي ياكل 6. Exercise علمود امنع DVT والمريض اذا يحتاج اسويله هم chest physiotherapy مثلا بال atelectasis 7. Drain لازم تلاحظ هل هناك اي دم او abnormal discharge 8. you should read case sheet ملاحظات الجراح 9. Elevate limb واذا المريض يحتاج دم blood transfusions

Pre operative سمنار ممكن يجي اوسكي الخطوات كالاتي 1. History/if patient smoker, alcoholic, diabetic,and past medical and drug history is important 2. Examination/ General ex. /vital signs, cardiovascular assessment Local examination, site of trauma ( site of injury نسوي اكزامينيشن لل) 3. Investigation/ CBC ,RBS, BP, اذا يحتاج ECG , Echo باقي التحاليل حسب حالة المريض 4. Medication بالنسبه للادوية اكو ادوية اضيفها الي هيه antibiotics 1 hour before surgery Thrombolytic 12hr before surgery واكو ادويه اوكفها قبل العملية مثل ادوية علاج الضغط وغيرها 5. Instructions Stop water 4 hours before surgery Stop eating food 8-6 hours before surgery 6. Reassurance 7. Liable site of surgery 8. Medicolegal consent بمعنى لازم يكون المريض و المرافقين واعين و يعرفون شنو ممكن يصير من مضاعفات بعد العمليه و نسبه فشل و نجاح العمليه
