Another WIPs
В последнее время мне очень нравится делать лайн более "живым", объемным и графичным. Достигаю я это путем добавления шерстинок, штриховки, уплотнения линий в точках пересечения, делая подобие тени. Из-за этого время работы над лайном достаточно сильно увеличивается (а я и так сижу над работами довольно долго, как мне кажется), но блин как же вкусно это выглядит🦷
Особенно сочно смотрится на рефах, а их у меня нынче дохрена в работе. Так что есть возможность это дело как следует отточить.
Lately, I really like making the line more "lively", voluminous and graphic. I achieve this by adding additional hairs, strokes, thickering lines at the intersection points, making a semblance of a shadow. Because of this, the time spent working on the line increases quite a lot (and I always draw an art for quite a long time ig), but damn i really like how it looks🦷 It looks especially nice on refs, and I have a lot of them in my work these days. So there is an opportunity to hone my lineart skill properly.

"Прощание с духом юности"
Изначально планировала нарисовать простенький скетчик с Легоси и его питомцем Носиком, но процесс творческих поисков натолкнул меня на воспоминания о главе Beastars, в которой этот жучок погиб. Это событие стало для главного героя одним из этапов взросления и осознания своей роли в обществе.
В этом сюжете для меня есть и личный подтекст. Не так давно (в мае, если точнее), по естественным причинам ушел мой лабрадор Гром, с которым я провела бОльшую часть своей жизни. Он был со мной на протяжении моего взросления и всех перемен, что ему сопутствовали. И его смерть, помимо очевидной грусти, породила и продолжает порождать в моих мыслях большое количество рефлексии и воспоминаний.

"Farewell to the Spirit of Youth" Firstly I planned to draw a simple sketch with Legosi and his pet Rhino (Beetly), but the process of creative search led me to memories of the Beastars chapter, in which this beetle died. This loss became one of the stages of growing up and realizing his role in society for the main character. There is also a personal subtext to this story for me. Not so long ago (more precisely in May), my Labrador Grom (Thunder), with whom I spent most of my life, left for natural reasons. He was with me throughout my growing up and all the changes that accompanied it. And his death, in addition to the obvious sadness, has generated and continues to generate in my thoughts a large amount of reflection and memories.
